   Thank you! This and the H&K UMP and the Gobi Scout are the perfect trio ... although I use this like 90% of the time.
   
   Damage is good (I have 100 gun skill) but not ridiculous, the gun looks great, and the suppressed sound is dead on (i.e. actually pretty realistic).
   
   Well done!
   
   I don't know if it's part of the Marksman Carbine itself, or what, but sometimes I'll miss shots where the reticule was perfectly placed... not sure if it's the sight or what, or just a fluke. It works perfectly most of the time.

   Only downside comes when I stop aiming down sight with the Desert Carbine. For some reason there is a small delay before it actually happens.

   Hello , excuse my lazyness , but does anybody know , specially the author , StanDudek , a console command to add one or more Desert Carbine ? I wish I could have one with silencer and one without , sometimes a big sound of gun is relaxing , sometimes stealth is required...

   Great logical addition to the game. It felt strange and out of place running around the Mojave desert with a woodland camo gun in my hand. This carbine is an alternative which makes so much more sense, and appropriate in conjuction with the Gobi campaign scout rifle. Well worth a big hearty endorsement - after I test it, of course.

   I've rolled this gun mod into a new mod of mine, the Desert Recon Kit, http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36256.
   
   It adds an armor set, binoculars, and a canteen, and can work along side this mod.

    Good job on upping the fire rate! Hehe you upped the dmg again too..
    
    with my gunskill @ 85, my dmg is in the mid 50s and DPS is over 200 o.O
