For those of you who do not know, while Wreckless1 has discontinued support of this modification, user Yukichigai has taken it over and re-released it as Fallout 3 Weapons Restoration.
in the geck click "file" above left, Load fo3weaponpack.esp , set it as active file before loading
now the file loaded , click edit ,then find text under search&replace , you write in : 1stpersong3 it's enough, got to objects ect
the one you need is "static" which is the texture in-game, so you click and you'll see an edit model in the middle , this is the assault rifle in game
you'll different type of texture positioning, they are wrongly placed, especially the "clip" texture, so you will change the textures with the right names , anyway you'll see the result in game so you don't even need to launche the game
yes, you need to go in the geck,when you are in, look at -edit- then -find text- , write : 1stpersong3 , find the static thing and open it, then click -edit- and put all the textures in the right place
I'm having the same jumbled up textures but the NCR who carry the rifle have the correct textures. Even if I kill them and take their gun it becomes jumbled as well. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
