For me, i like that idea. I play with headshot mod, realistic reload, only in clothes outfit anyway and yea, i like it. Can be good, my Cold 1911 and M16 is all i need.

As reality-ish mod as interesting as they are. I suppose I'll say I don't really like the idea.
Author said the stats is taken from US Solider gear...Well, first off. US Solider got air support, military base, mobile transport. Ammo and supplies are never really a problem, so they don't really have to carry that much gear.

In Fallout universe, you're pretty much a loner who travel a DESSERT alone. Maybe this mod wouldn't make me feel that iffy if I weren't playing on Hardcore. But counting the weight of ammo, guns and aid supplies. Well...

And as far as realistic goes. The year is 2281, the majority of weapon is still wooden made bolt action rifles. The laser type rifles looks like they're from the 50's. Well, let's just say this video game wasn't exactly realistic to begin with. Besides, realistically speaking. You took a bullet in the head...

Just saying, with all the fallout universe facts adding up, restricting carrying weight to that limit is pretty unforgiving without a real improvement. What I would suggest is limit how many types of item you can carry rather than focusing on the weight limit. Such as, only allowed to carry 2~3 weapons, including primary/secondary. 2 sets of armor/clothes counting the one equipped ( As much as hygiene isn't a primary concern, I believe it would still be nice to have clothes changing from day to day. ) And so on.

This mod is probably meant to be played with other realism mods like this: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35335/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D35335&pUp=1 ...and have you ever heard of special task forces like battle divers, paratroopers and such. Even with this mod this game is easy compared to real life.

I've been looking for a more realistic Fallout experience, having played it many, many hours, so this mod is great. Thanks, gonna endorse.

Absolutely essential. The default carry weight is ridiculously huge.

I do not question the mod itself, but I do question the purpose.

Nowadays (as in vanilla), with the weight limit just a tad over than the limit this mod offers, what do I do? That's right, I stash all the loot near the travel point, and then spend an hour of my valuable lifetime (real) traveling back and forth between this location and the traders hub, so that i can sell it all. What will this mod do for me? That's right, double my trips and that would be it. I leave it to the reader to guess my comments on this improvement.

YES. This is exactly what I'm looking for, I'll endorse once I'm sure it won't cause any problems. It works perfectly with the backpack mod I have. Adds a lot of immersion.

I like the Idea of altering the whole inventory and encumbrance system!

I wish there was a secondary carryweight value, something like a "carryspace" for items in the game, because items should also consume space. You can then increase the carryspace by wearing bags, backpacks and so on, while carryweight is still determined by strength. Equipped items don't use up carryspace, but you still carry their weight. May be difficult to do, but would be awesome!

What bothers me is that the vanilla overencumbrance is applied immediately as you exceed the maximum carryweight. There should be something like a smoot transition that decreases movement speed proportionally to the overencumbrance. The vanilla behaviour simply feels wrong!

Anyway, I like it, seems realistic! But well, reality is unforgiving, and for me, overencumbrance is already a problem even without this mod

Even though it sounds like a good idea, it'll only add to the many many annoyances found in the game and even make travelling worse, having to travel back and forth between vendors and drop boxes to even be able to carry anything usefull.

    Sorry, not for me.
