There is some inconsistency with recipes. Vanilla takes one piece of meat, this mod takes two. Result is almost the same in terms of health healed and hunger sated with the same 1 unit of weight. So now I have bunch of Food Rations, but my inventory is still cluttered with leftover Steaks. It would be more to the point of this mod to be able to convert raw food to rations 1:1 instead of 2:1
EDIT: Okay, I went through the FNVedit and switched all recipes to use 1 input item. To balance things out I also made output weaker and cheaper. Now this mod is amazing. I can't upload it without author's permission, but if you want to do the same - it's quite easy and takes a short time.
1) BBQ grill south of Minefield. 2) Hotplate inside player owned house in Megaton. (Tenpenny tower personal lux suite untested) 3) BBQ grill in Rivet City Marketplace (possibly part of TTW Rivet City Merchants Plus ) 4) Stove in Henry Lawsen's Cellarshop
Those 4 are most convenient for me in Capital Wasteland.
If anyone wants to take over this mod it's ok with me. Feel free to integrate in any other pack, at the moment I dont have FNV installed, maybe in a year or so when nostalgia hits me :p Cheers
it would be great if you set the "cook blahblah" recipes to show only when you have the neccessary items. its kinda cluttered when theres a huge long list of COOKCOOKCOOKCOOKCOOK in the recipe list

Here's my updated version: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/70699
The Rations recipes are still useful, though.
