i simply cannot get this to work, ive done everything step by step, first time i got very strange colourful textures and in every new angle i looked with my char the textures changed and whatever. Second time when i used bse for archive invalidation (wich i dont know what is, or why do we need that) then the HD textures simply didnt show up. so ive spent more then a half hour with this for nothing.
Am I correct in assuming we have to have this game installed on a steam directory for this script to work? What if we don't have a steam directory? My path is
crogram FilesBethesda SoftworksFallout New Vegas.
I originally extracted the files to that folder but I got the same message as below.
When I run the script I get this message:
I created a folder on my desktop and extracted the files into it. So it would be
SET fonv_dir_falloutnv=DesktopNMCTextures ??
EDIT: Figured it out. I forgot to put the same path for fallout3 as falloutnv. So if anyone had problems before, just type the same exact path in SET fonv_dir_fallout 3 as you did for the SET fonv_dir_falloutnv.
Got this installed and enjoying it overall, but I've got an odd issue - as I move around outside, the landscape texture gets steadily less detailed until it's just a blur. It then snaps back to a fully-detailed, fully-normalled texture.
Every other texture comes out perfectly all the time - is this a memory issue or something I can overcome with settings? (I'm running the 4gb version of NV)
