As with the similar mod for FO3, I wouldn't want to play the game without this.
I have no idea why Bethesda and now Obsidian have both failed to do this by default and have generally chosen to use low-resolution textures. It was slightly more excusable in 2006-2008, but in 2010 it is getting a bit old. My hardware is old by gaming standards, yet I can still run large texture packs such as NMC's at 60 FPS even at 1680x1050. Take a hint, developers.
