This is what the lighsaber should sound like :) Apprecited. The volume of equip and unequip sound too loud on my computer, so I adjust them in goldwave to half the value. Now it's perfect. Endorsed.
PS:The following wav files are not concluded in the original mod. Do they really work in game? wpn_lsaber1_equip_ALT wpn_lsaber1_fire_04 wpn_lsaber1_fire_05 wpn_lsaber1_fire_06
What adevin wrote worked for me, without having to edit the volume of the wav file; for me the volume is perfect. So idle works now.
However I'm also getting the pop sound when unequiping, even when I'm using a different wav file. I'll try to add silence to the end of the wav file and see if that fixes it.
Edit: Most excellent, it worked. I used my own saber unequip sound and added like 0.2 seconds of silence at the end.
Now both idle and unequip work flawlessly, the rest already did
I opened the esp in fnvedit and in the tree sound -> wpnlightsaberidlelpm (xxeff215) set random chance% to 0 and static attenuation cdb to 0. Now the idle sound works although it's quiet, I just amplified the volume in the sound file.
I'm getting a weird pop noise after the unequip sound triggers. I've checked over the mp3 and don't hear that pop in the sound file, it only happens in-game. Is there any way to get rid of that noise?
Update: I removed the pop by adding a tiny bit of extra silence at the end of the unequip sound. It doesn't pop anymore.

@Wookie120
I'm also not hearing the idle sound.
