Had to download this mod because bloody mess keep fucking up bounty hunting quest at mcnaran. Even if I aiming at torso or other body parts it's often the head also blown up
Thank you so much for this. I love the extra damage, but have always hated having enemies constantly being reduced to unidentifiable chunks of meat. Not only was it annoying to me on a visual level, but when they're all reduced to intermingled chunks of hamburger, it's kind of hard to know which shapeless lumps you've looted and which ones you haven't.
I don't suppose you could change this somehow, so that Bloody Mess does have the extra gibbing, except only on the body parts you've hit? So basically, if you snipe someone in the head, it has an extra chance to gib the head.
The part I hate about this perk's stock version is that you shoot someone in the head, and their arm or leg falls off too. Wtf? Or their whole torso just explodes. But with this mod, more often than not when you shoot someone in the head, their head just separates from the neck and rolls away instead of exploding, which would be a cooler effect.
Well the explosion effect is nice, but it doesn't happen THAT often imo At first, I never took this perk because I didn't want my kills ruined, but it's fun, it doesn't happen so often as I read.
@jwarner Did your character have the perk before the mod? If so then read the description. If not then there must be something wrong, this works for me. Maybe you got some other mod that affects the bloody mess perks? just a thought.
My game kept crashing half the time I had a lot of gibs. I'm sad to see the visuals go, but at least I can play the game without having it crash every time I get a critical hit.

If so then read the description.
If not then there must be something wrong, this works for me.
