Thank you for creating this mod. Even though I am a full member if the NCR I still like the looks of this armor and I am glad that it is factionless armor even according to the Fallout Wikia so I do not have to worry about my ass getting turned into swiss cheese whenever I go around any NCR bases. This mod also makes it easier to equip the armor through my pip-boy instead of through console commands which works for me because I am using my XBOX controller to play.
@SerStalOnd: The stock version of this item worn by Lanius has a flag set within the GECK that makes the armor unplayable. What this means is that, while you can use the add command on it and your current carry weight will be increased accordingly, it will not appear in the pipboy, thus making it useless. This mod changes that and removes that flag to make it playable. A copy of the armor was made as to keep the stock armor worn by Lanius unchanged.
@WouldUKindly: I haven't loaded the GECK for awhile, came on only to check the site, but there is a checkbox in the lower right of the window when editing the armor's textures, name, DT, etc that dictates whether it is playable or not. I am unsure exactly what it is called.

player.additem <BASEOBJECTID> <ESIREDAMOUNT>
find its code on the fallout wikia
You have to make sure the .esp is activated by putting a check in a box either in the game launcher under data files or in the mod manager.
No faction tags are associated with the armor.
