Look,i've seen so many mods dying like this and the modder just ran away without "BTW,guys,i don't mod anymore!So don't ask for updates,if someone asks to continue the mod i will give him the source work,just credit me" While instead there were some mods that were discontinued and the modder actually said "I'm sorry but i cannot mod anymore whoever wants to continue i will give you my blessing and source" That's the difference between a polite modder and "I don't care" modder
I've run into one issue with this mod: if I try to use the monorail to get to the strip, the game won't let me. When I click E to enter the monorail, nothing happens. I also don't have E as an option to enter. I'm certain this mod is causing the issue, so I was wondering if there were any possible fixes to fix this issue or ideas on why this is happening. Playing modded vegas for the first time and loving it, and this mod. Is the new casino supposed to let you gamble there? Or is it just for looks? i can't talk to anyone in there. i'm wondering if its conflicting with any of my other mods if it is actually supposed to let you gamble. if not then no worries i guess.
The changes to the South strip gate in freeside make the door unusable. Just spent 3hr trying to narrow down what was causing it and unchecking NVR-version 10 file from my data files list fixed it. :/
I was able to fix it but keep the mod by going into the area in GECK and selecting the door and setting it as always active/or initially active, whatever the option was. Though for some weird reason it also made the lights that shine into the gate area all go dark which makes no sense... but at least the door works... If anyone else if here reading and has the issue and doesn't want to mess with GECK then I can send the updated mod file with my door fix/lights break solution. *sigh* Hopefully this saves someone else the 3 hours I spent trying to sort this out...
Yea, it wasn't giving me the text prompt indicating it was a door and where it went and trying to hit the bottom to activate didn't do anything. Was acting like it wasn't a door at all from in the game.
