You're right. This was able to work better for me when I created a merged patch with Redesigned 3. Also, Improved Sandbox mod has some dumb looking idles. Flipping the bird at a wall, waving their hand at nobody, etc.
It would be cool to some how implement this to companions when dismissed, cause at home they are parading around in their armor etc. You are at home Veronica! take off the power armor! It's so loud! ETC. So at the Lucky 38 companions are relaxing is casual wear.
Dose anyone know how to make companions not follow you in a line? Like when i have multiple followers they always follow me in a line and i don't want that. Dose anyone know how to change this in any way?
I've never payed much attention to it. Mine do the same thing. It has to do with their AI. Each one is programmed to follow the Player Character and every companions AI overlaps each other. Therefore they all follow you in a orderly fashion. I don't know how to fix it. I wonder what dictates which companion "leads the pack" as in which is in front. Does it have to do with which one you recruited first?
Is there a way to change the option of your companions switching between armor and casual gear after the initial set? If not, I think it'd be great if you could, maybe through an item or mod manager.
I have the same problem as Uzibeatle. I saw it once, in Veronica's text, selected it - nothing happened. Never seen it again, and I can't seem to fix it.

A lot of them tend to have their own sandbox scripts but some still stand around.

Patch desperately requested!
As stated in the patch notes: Includes one more AI related change to Boone from the 1.2 official patch that I forgot.
I guess there have been some changes to AI from 1.3 and 1.4 and this mod is just ready for 1.2 NV so don't expect it to work properly on your 1.4
I really hope someone can create at least a separate fix for 1.4, this mod was just great...
