The following picture is of a new world space I've been working on called The Canyonlands. It should be at least half the size of Vegas. The worldspace is done, basically. All that's left is the final quest and bug fixes. Plus a few dialogue voiced lines that need to be added.

      Two Years of improvisational work. None of this was planned, I just added more stuff every once in a while. It was originally going to be much smaller, but I just kept adding things.

    Do you edit your landmasses by hand? Or do you use heightmap editor?

      By hand.

      You should really consider using height map editor, at least for your out of world LOD (stuff you can see but not play) You cna get huge chunks done in seconds without that blocky looking terrain mesh.
