Fallout New Vegas

Hello!
This article is for those who are having doubts about installing or using SUP NVSE due to some of internet-related functions.

Myth 1 - Tomm is stealing my data!
Your data is absolutely safe.I've been modding for 8 years now and have a reputation to keep. Any malicious actions from my side would be instantly used by my haters whom I've gained all over the years. All of my work is open-source and compilible. You will find that all hash checks pass between plugin I upload on Nexus and plugin which is compiled from the source.

Myth 2 - SUP NVSE gives the game access to the internet! This is dangerous!
First of all - SUP NVSE never connects to the internet by itself. It's done only if you have mod which uses internet functions.
Secondly - SUP NVSE doesn't give the game internet acces. It sends specific http requests to specific servers(like Nexus or Pastebin). During these requests NONE of your infromation is sent(look at the source). SUP NVSE http requests don't give other plugins or mods uncontrolled(or any) access to internet. It just doesn't work that way!

But coder N said that SUP NVSE is dangerous!
You should ask this person an example of how exactly this might work. Sadly there are people in this community who are spreading(and spreaded in the past) misinformation about me and my work because they simply don't like me.

If you've been told that SUP NVSE is malicious you can forward me their message and I will comment on it.

At the same time you should always get your DLLs from trustworthy sources and modders you trust. Any DLL there is can be malicious and SUP NVSE is not a requirement for these DLLs to work.

Thank you!

I'm sure this argument is incredibly compelling to you, but I honestly hope you know the difference.
