All,

After months of dissecting, revising and augmenting the content of New Vegas Bounties, I'm pleased to announce the release of the public betas for NVBI version 1.5 and NVBII version 1.3, respectively. These files can now be found under the "Optional Files" section.

As I've stated on the forums, these updates are comprehensive, addressing balancing, voice acting, texture issues, and overall performance. Furthermore, the new version of NVBII includes several hours of fresh quest content, along with hundreds of lines of fully-voiced dialogue.

As these are beta builds, bear in mind that the voicework is largely finished, though a handful of characters will remain silent.

I'd like to avoid littering the article with an exhaustive change-log, but I am excited to share some of the new features:
- NVBII includes a new canine companion, "Guts"
- Doc Friday is now a fully-functional companion
- There are four new quests in NVBII. Most of them can be accessed by completing secondary bounties.
- NVBII includes a "Radiant" bounty system that becomes available following the completion of the main quest. It is a source of infinite, albeit simplified quest content.
- The "Dungeon Evolution" from The Inheritance has been implemented in numerous dungeons. After undertaking missions, the player will witness changes in locations over time, with some locales featuring randomized content.

Now, before you get too excited, take into account these technical considerations:
- Both files now require the someguyseries.esm (found in mirrors and linked in the description)
- You must finish NVBI to initiate NVBII. This means that savegame compatibility is nonexistent, at least for the beta. I may be able to concoct a console workaround later on. Otherwise the only sure approach is to start from an old savegame, or simply restart the quests.
- I just want to reiterate - these are beta versions, and you may encounter bugs. Please report any bugs and/or conflicts in the comments section.

Thanks for all the support and encouragement, in spite of the countless delays. Suffice to say this has been the most laborious undertaking of my modding career; it's one thing to build something from the ground up, and it's something else to gut and improve a dated plugin. To put it in perspective, here is a round list of all my mods and their associated production time:
- The Duelists: 3 weeks
- New Vegas Bounties: 3.5 weeks (you read that right)
- New Vegas Bounties II: 4 months
- Sword of Sigdan: 3 weeks
- The Inheritance: 3 months
- New Vegas Bounties Update/Expansion: 7 months

As you can see, what began as a "quick fix" to ensure compatibility with the someguyseries.esm ballooned into a large-scale overhaul. Nonetheless, I believe it was worth the investment of time and energy.

I hope you try out the new versions!

Having an issue with voices missing, and that red exclamation mark in the jail. I've done my best with no luck. Any idea?
