This is a masterpiece! But very dissapointed with chapter 3. And the first one wasn't complete

Hey, this is a fantastic series, played 1 and 2 many moons ago, but wanted to play through again to enjoy the third / final mod... Just wondering for the power crystal that powers the teleport circles (the one where the statue attacks the first time you take it). The game hints that you may be able to keep the crystal if you find an alternative way of powering the teleporters, but I can't seem to figure it out. I realize the power crystal isn't that big a deal (appears to give one bonus level 3 spell when I take it from the pedestal) I'm just more interested in learning what I am missing. spoiler is fine as I already beat the game once, really just want to figure out what I am missing with the power crystal...

    Thanks!

      try using the teleportation rod

      here how I did Spoilers

      1. grab the crystal and beat the guardian
      2. replace the crystal and use the pads to get your companion out
      3. grab the crystal again and use your rod to teleport to the high ground
and now you have a fancy crystal and your meat shield not trapped

Just wanted to leave a comment to say I sorted my issue. Re-downloading the mod and re-installing sorted it and its playable for me. So far I'm absolutely enjoying this mod. You need to make more mods like this! This is definitely a must have mod for anyone playing Neverwinter Nights 2

Does anyone remember the script to skip the arcane labyrinth? It was posted at the old vault but it's been ages and IGN shut it down.

Very good mod in general. Great non-standard use of spells makes being a wizard far more enjoyable.

    I'm a little confused at a post-camp battle piece.
I'll try to make this fairly spoiler free

    Alliance with Sundsvenall done
    "Special Alliance" secured
Slavers defeated (including extended slavers on coast)
Arena done - Wizards followup for monster with key/rod done (key/rod acquired)
Camp store quest done, familiar quest done

Raven still gives a "nothing to report" message every time I talk to him.
    Am I missing something?

    Possible bug:
Journal still has the conversation about needing to have a good troll accent as current through all the following steps were done. Was I supposed to track down the freed slaves in their homes and talk to them somehow?

If there is a bug here somewhere is there a script to run that will advance Raven's conversations?

This is definitely the best mod I've played for NWN2 and I'm only roughly halfway through.

Areas are fantastic. Dialogue and characterization is a stand out winner versus the competition. Combat is challenging on hardcore and very satisfying. There are a lot of things I normally hate in this module e.g. escaping from a multi-layered dungeon without my equipment - but each level of the tower brought something new and intriguing and thought-provoking. I almost didn't want to escape!

I've put off playing this for a long time as I don't like playing as a Wizard. Was tempted by Bard (which I love), but felt it wouldn't fit the theme of the module enough. Eventually went with a Swashbuckler/Wizard/Harper's Agent build which is basically an over-complicated bard anyway, but I'm loving it. All of the wizard elements to this game are immensely satisfying. I love feeling like Batman, with different tools ready to be used for imaginative purposes. I also particularly appreciate how much the module rewards skill-points (especially as I'm getting 10 sp a level right now). Makes for a very satisfying game.

I'm kind of ignoring your stealth system. Sorry. I tried going invisible once and I got spotted anyway (presumably because my move silently skill is so low). So now I just hack my way through everything. I suspect the module is designed for someone with more subtlety than me!

Can't wait to see how this continues.

I finally got around to playing this module. It is a very good one. It is definitely worth playing.

The areas are well done -- I especially liked the pit descent toward the end of the module. The riddles were also well done. They were introduced before you had the context to understand them, but once in context they fit really well.

There were a couple of experiments with fog of war and using potions of magic restoration that I don't think worked all that well compared to just using the NWN2 style of resting and fog of war. This mod also suffers a bit from having to cross and recross the same large areas over and over again.
