I know it's not the most ideal solution for players. It's better suited to modders who can use this to get rid of the bad ones so that they can insert better-looking cobwebs to their modules.
I could make the default cobweb texture higher resolution, but that would require increasing the size of the entire crypt texture set, because it's all in one texture file, and it's so small that I'd have to blow it up at least 400% to get a noticeable improvement. I didn't think it would be worth the extra load just for the cobwebs.
A better solution would probably be to edit the UV mapping of the tileset itself, and assigning a completely separate texture file to the cobwebs.
I can't imagine the effort it would take but I was expecting higher rez cobwebs not simply a cleaner. It's kinda strange how a dungeon looks as if it's freshly swept... unless of course you run across zombies with brooms.
