1. You finish at lvl 5 (although that's after last fight). 2. There some skill/ability checks (intimidate/charisma, maybe more) 3. It's pretty nicely made, you can complete certain tasks in different ways (eg. sneaking instead of going head-on) 4. Simple linear plot. 5. There is a bit of unnecessary backtracking, which can be confusing (eg. I killed all patrols and when try to enter the mine it tells me "there might be more patrols" instead saying "go and report back on your progress).
Bugs: 1. First quest is broken. If you accept the quest, it immediately jumps the journal to "completed" state and while you can still kill the bandits, you can't talk to the family and if you try to leave the area, the boy complains and you have to "ditch" him. If you reject the quest, the journal jumps into "you accepted the quest", but the boy doesn't join you and the family and bandits are not there. 2. At the very end of the module, there is a chest in chieftan's lair. If you loot that chest, the module ends, even if you didn't kill the chief. Conversely, if you kill the chief and his minions, the module also ends immediately, preventing you from looting that chest...
Simple, short, but done well enough. Initially I was irritated by the amount of forced backtracking to report success and open up new areas, but after the first couple times there are conversation options to teleport you to the appropriate area. The storytelling could use a little less "you think this" or "you clearly can't do this and you aren't even allowed to attempt it", but that's more of a personal preference than a problem with the module. It feels like the kind of thing you'd use as an introductory module for someone new to the PnP version of the game, which isn't necessarily bad. Overall, worth a playthrough if you have an hour or two to kill and don't mind minimum-level adventures.

I do not know if you are still reading this but kudos to you!
If you see this name on an adventure you can be sure it's worth checking out.
