The Dinosaur companion is always getting in the way because it's just too large. This mod shrinks it down to make it much more manageable.

This changes appearance.2da to make the Dinosaur companion smaller, and adjust animation speed and attack distance to match. It does not change any capability of the dino (including DnD size category). Just throw it in your override directory and restart. (default is \Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\override) He now looks to be the size of a 50-60 pound attack dog instead of a pony. This makes the Dino much more livable since he won't trap you in doorways or get in your way as you're charging an enemy. Move speed was not changed, though he looks like he's moving faster since he's smaller and his little legs are pumping faster to keep up.
It will not be compatible with any other mod which changes the appearance.2da file. You can manually modify any other mod's appearance.2da to add this Dino shrinkage to it, though. The steps are as follows:
Download TLKEdit. Run TLKEdit and open your appearance.2da in NWN2 mode. On row 36 (Deinonychus_NX2), modify the following:
NWN2_Scale_X, Y, and Z all to 0.6 Animation Speed to 2.5 Perspace to 0.2 Creperspace to 0.2 HitDist to 0.5 PrefAtckDist to 1.0 SelectionSize to 1
