I have Companion and Monster AI 2.5 installed.
    Did I need the patch?

    Hey there.

Feels great to not have to choose between a tiny black UI or a normal ui. I was just wondering, what file would I need to get the old inventory style back? I liked the tabs, and I find all of the items in one thing feels a bit off.

I noticed that the issue 3 did not exist in the original Black UI, since the mod used pure color black as back ground in the character panel.

What kind of background do you have in mind? You can make a screenshot, I do not understand you =)

Good Job! A must have for me.
I don’t know if you were still playing this game, but I still want to give my personal suggestion for improvement.
1 The original mini-map of NWN 2 is too small to be useful and the big map is too big to be activated all the time since the big map takes up a lot of space on the screen. Personally I am using a mod which decreases the big map’ size in half, so I can turn off the mini-map and use the new big map as the mini-map at the top left corner of the game screen. My suggestion is a mod which doubles the size of mini-map to make min-map truly useful. The big map is still very useful in some big area, in which case you need a big map to have a good look of the whole area.

2 Combat log window is really a pain in the ass. There are four lines of unused space at the bottom of that window. As a result of this, a log windows show 5 lines of log would take up 9 lines of space of the screen which is a lot and very intrusive. I never understand why the hell the developer would do such thing at the first place. I hope it is possible to make the log start from the real bottom of the combat log screen.
Better yet, can you make a hot key to show and hide the combat log? The reason behind this is that most of the time you don’t need the log so you want to hide it and when you do need to look at the log, you want to have a long list of log so you get the information you want easily. A hot key to hide and show the log would be a perfect solution.

3 Can you remove the annoying background of character panel as you did with the inventory?
4 Can we get a bigger inventory icon mod ?

Issue 1 and 2 are major ones. The rest are minor.

Oh, friend. I did everything I could, and it was very difficult for me to combine two fashion. I'm afraid that what you are proposing, especially the creation of hot keys, I can not do it. I do not have scripting skills. Sorry friend =)

Friend, you can double-click on the mini-map window to increase its size! It's true you can do it!

Another thing I noticed is that when combined with Tony'K AI mod, there is still some lines under the behavior tab showing "silence". I don't know if this is normal?
PS: I did download and installed the compatible mod.

Yes, Tchos expanded it and placed it on the right. I removed the annoying background in the character's window and changed the lighting in it. As a result, good work =)
