    Hello. I am stuck in the observatory. When I enter, one of the Xhand says I am
    expected in the cellar but I can't go down. A message says the cellar
    grate is locked.A strange thing is that the Lantern Company cargo is still in my inventory though I chose to give it to the Xhand when I
    exited the mine. Any idea ?

    Reloaded an older game. This time rather than entering the quarry driven by curiosity, I did it on behalf of the Xhand guild. .When I
    came back in town I was able to enter the cellar.Beautiful landscapes, moving stpry of a dying world. I enjoyed the module. Thank you.

    I have an idea of adding a constant, increasing freezing as an in-game-story driving narrative that would be shown and told through the Neverwinter exposition cutscene and would appear (I am keen on recording my own voice for such an 'episodal' narration) in between the completion and start of quests (akin to a random event generator available in turn-based games) that are not main .Instead, the constant increasing 'freezing', plot driving narrative will continuously modify the landscape(so it itself will be the 'main quest').

    I am currently thinking of a way of introducing an algorithm as so the "main" freezing narrative events are allocated non-sequentially, rather randomly dispersed.

    Very well crafted adventure. Enjoyed every moment of it. Hope to see more chapters in the future.

    as best i can tell, something in your module has broken bard songs.
    inspire courage gives you "+1 bludgeoning against dwarves" only, and sometimes just starts flickering on and off. constantly, with the animation, so it's like you're a walking strobe light.
    inspire competence just flickers on and off and sometimes doesnt work at all.

    i emptied out my override folder, and it was still broken. i tried a few other modules i have downloaded and bard song works normally with them.

      Sorry to hear that, but thanks for letting me know - I'll try and figure out what the problem is. I very deliberately didn't meddle with spells or feats in any way (I just don't have the scripting knowledge) so to be honest, I'm not sure what it could be...

      I tried doing a clean install today, just to make sure i didnt have something somewhere conflicting, and no luck. I tried this because lurk's spells are messed up for me as well.He has the first level spell "body of the sun" and it doesnt damage enemies, but it does damage me, even though i've got the game on normal dificulty! Same with entangle.

      i did some googling the other day to see if anyone else was complaining about my bard problem and did run across this random forum post from 2008 about a persistent world:

      no solution there.

      i cant be the only person suffering from these bugs though!

      i do like what i've played of the module so far, but a bard with broken bard song and a druid with broken spells means i've just got a party of the world's worst fighters.

      one other random thing i noticed. in the second story of the gnomish tower, there's rubble blocking an archway leading to the next level that i can walk right through (to a door that doesnt work). i mostly bring this up because i got that key off that corpse that as far as i can tell doesnt go anywhere?

      That is bizarre - and yeah, you're the first person to mention a problem with Lurk's spells :/

      I'll ask the braintrust at the Vault if they know what could be causing the issue, but thanks for persisting as long as you did and letting me know.

    I've more or less played through the mod though there' s likely a few things I haven't done but I got a good feeling for the story and what not. I have to say I'm really intrigued by the whole thing and look forward to the rest Considering what happens to the PC at a certain point and their golem rigging (not wanting to spoil it) that's got me hooked and want to find out what *that's* all about.

    I like the companions as their different, the undead wizard and the lithid druid Laldrissa is going to give my cleric fits trying to heal her with curse wound spells Keep up the good work.

    And a suggestion any other updates it may be better to have to download just the updated mod and campaign folder rather than everything as it's quite the pain once you have all the haks and what not.

    Here's something that's more of an observation I killed Crann after finding the body, however I was also able to get the quest from Thandar to 'remove' Crann so now I have a quest I can't complete There should be a check so that Thandar knows if Crann has been killed or not so he won't give his quest if Crann is dead. You should also be able to tell Thandar why the PC killed Craan and give the ring you find on the body as proof.

      Oh, damn, good point - thanks for pointing it out!

      I'll fix Thandar's response on the next update. There's always something else...

    Two bugs I guess you could call them Caul and Nephias don't auto level on joining and even worse Caul doesn't seem to gain XP. Can't comment on Laldrissa as I haven't gotten far enough to get her

    Also I was poking about in the toolset at the conversations for a certain Lantern Company merchant that Lurk warns you about, now there's a way to get him nice and angry that ends in the PC being able to kill said merchant and his two guards Something I really want to do as I can't stand the guy. However I can't for the life of me find the body of the poor soul the Lantern Company merchant had killed. Either I'm not looking in the right or something.

    Anyway interesting mod. Hope you're able to do the rest as sad to say it's all to often a series is started but never finished.

      Thanks a lot, I'll take a look - I've tried to fix Caul's issue before, I still wasn't sure if it was just his fire genasi level+1 throwing people off!

      The body is near the north-west edge of Ironscuttle (the general area where the beetleherd is), but it's underwater in one of the swamp pools, so may take some pixel-hunting - it's meant to be something you stumble across through exploration rather than just find.

      But you can *also* get an optional quest from Thandar to kick Craan off the caravan, which can lead to pretty much the same result. Just ask him about the caravan when you get a chance, then prompt him with 'Sounds like you have someone in mind' when he gets mad.

      Ah, thank you! I had suspected it was in one of the pools but it was figuring out where to look

      If you're fairly thorough with quests and exploration, you should be Level 5 by the end of the chapter, I reckon.
