Here are copies of the Air Mephit, Dust Mephit, Magma Mephit, and Ooze Mephit for your NWN2 campaign.

Permissions and credits
This release provides copies of the Air Mephit, Dust Mephit, Magma Mephit, and Ooze Mephit for your NWN2 campaign. The creatures are generated via a custom set of blueprints, scripts, visual effect, and texture files, using the tintable ice mephit model by Shaughn. The blueprint stats are the same as those in version 3.5 of the Monster Manual. The creature Special Abilities are added via rows 1216-1220 of the spells.2da and henchspells.2da files. If you already use custom spells.2da and henchspells.2da files, you will instead need to merge in the new rows.

To add the mephits to your toolset:

  • Include both 2da files in your personal Override folder
  • Move the mephits.hak file to your personal Hak folder
  • Add the mephit.hak file to the Module's hak file list
  • Import the mephit_blueprints.erf file into your module

In your Toolset, the new mephits should now be located in the Outsiders category under the Creatures blueprints, and their spells can be found in their Special Abilities list:

  • Air Mephit - Racial Spell (blur), Air Mephit
  • Dust Mephit - Racial Spell (blur), Dust Mephit
  • Magma Mephit -- Combust, Magma Mephit
  • Ooze Mephit -- Melf's Acid Arrow, Stinking Cloud, Ooze Mephit
