Be sure to download the latest version.
If you stumble upon wrong fast travel markers, i could always change them but i need to know the names of the locations you're trying to fast travel to.
It would be better if i could do lot of them and release one major update than releasing one small update containing only one modification each time.

It seems each time there's an update, for some reason the mod "breaks", the solution is simple, open the file with the construction set, zEdit (recommended) or TES4Edit (not recommended), rename something, set its name back to what it was and save the plugin, it will work again.
If using the construction set, you can simply save the plugin without modifying anything.
So far, it seems we have to do that each time Nehrim is updated.

I was so excited to see this mod, and so disappointed to discover that it's currently broken.

A workaround has been posted, but I'm just a mod user, not a writer, so I don't know what zEdit and TES4Edit are, how to get them, or how to use them. If I'm lucky, some kind person will supply a description that dummies like me can use for this case. Otherwise, I guess I'm out of luck until the author posts an update.

It's a sad reflection on the mod community that explanations seem to always be geared to other mod writers, and there is little or no documentation that is usable by the rest of us to bridge the gap.

Install SkyBSA and you do not need to bother with all this stuff anymore. Oblivion has some weird issue with file timestamps, especially the Steam version. This causes mods to be "ignored" even if installed or loaded. Install SkyBSA and you never have to think or worry about this issue again.

In addition to requiring the zEdit or TES4Edit workaround, this mod causes problems whenever the game teleports you somewhere, as during the flashback sequence in Search for My Roots, or -- during The Pilgrimage -- it deletes the terrain in the Shadow World and dumps you into an endless ocean of lava, which is generally fatal and prevents progressing the main quest even if you somehow survive.

I haven't had similar problems (so far) with Nehrim - Fast Travel Enabled (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/36693/), so I'd recommend that instead.

I confirm the mod doesn't work with Nehrim latest version. I edited it using Zedit as per the recommended method (changed a name somewhere, saved, changed back the name, saved again) and now it works well.

Maybe the mod creator could update it this way ? :)

Frequently doesn't work. Once you click on Naranzal's statue, it fast travels you into lava. So I disabled it for that part and re-enabled the mod after, and it refused to work.

Hi, firstely: thanks you so much for creating this mod.

Secondly: I added the "quests for magic symbols"-mod today and somehow that mod just disables the fast travel mod completely. Clicking on an Icon on the map doesnt get me a message. Any idea why that happens and how to resolve that problem?

I only used those two mods together, nothing else - that made it pretty easy to try out every load order in the nehrim launcher. Load order seems to have no influence at all.( I use the german steam version of nehrim)

In hopes it might change something i deleted all (2) mods, installed Wrye Bash and installed the mods through wyre bash, but that didnt change anything.

Any help/tips would be greately appreciated :)

Like someone already posted here the fast traveling mod breaks a part of the quest "seeking your roots" ("Wurzelsuche") When you go into the city your family might have lived in, just save right before entering, deactivate the fast travel mod in the nehrim launcher, do the stuff in that city (you will see the game teleporting you during the quest, that teleportation gets broken with the mod enabled). After you finished that "traveling to somewhere and going back"-sequence, just save and activate the mod again.

Unfortunately I've to share a report on the SureAI discord of one player who ran into an issue with the quest "Search for my Roots".
It seems this mod broke the quest.
I was able to continue with the player's savegame not using many of the mods the player used, which brought me to the conclusion that the mod setup of this player caused issues.
Apparently the player found the issue him- / herself and shared the result of the investigation (as seen in the linked screenshot).

Keep in mind that Nehrim wasn't ever intended to have fast travel enabled and it seems that re-enabling it doesn't work as nice as for Enderal.
