Hello, my friends and I have been researching vulnerabilities or other ways to allow us to freely drive police cars in multiplayer games. Now I have seen your MOD. I have installed it and tried it, and it is really cool. It runs smoothly most of the time in multiplayer mode. Now I want to ask, can other players see my police car modifications? For example, if I add sirens to the car, can other players see the flashing lights and hear the siren?
Literally what we've been waiting for, especially that it has the data for the police NPC such as the working lights, so modder must add it as well for the F150 aside just a part swap done to other cars since those vehicles don't have cop light data, unlike the Crown Vic and Skyline R34 which do have so it works, which is the same for the F150
As I figured, F-150 doesn't have cop light override data, since it doesn't feature the cop lightbars that the data is for. Therefore, even with a CMI swap, the lights will not work.
I've got an issue running this mod with Unbound Remix where the cop parts dont show up for the supported cars. Things like the coplights do work though. Is this a known bug when running it with Unbound remix or something new ?
There may be a conflict with certain parts that are replaced/edited, in both mods. If anything, just place my cop fbmods at the bottom of the applied mods list.
The site has been running weird lately. Whenever anyone uploads a mod, it takes longer than usual for the mod to be checked and approved. What normally takes minutes, took hours. There is nothing to be done but wait.
I had to wait for my updated mod to be approved and the site was running slow at the time, so the link wasn't working correctly. The new 1.0.4 update is out now for patch 9.0.2
Majority of this mod pack is simply swaps and/or replacements. They work online, it's just only you will see the actual replacements, and anyone else using the mod(s). Cop lights from official cop vehicles work as well, you can use them outside the garage. The only mod that won't work is the lower ride height mod, since Criterion made adjustments that breaks suspension and stance tuning slider adjustments.
Should still make a note of it, as there are some people who don't realize that. In testing some visual mods I have made didn't work out of the garage, I haven't tested CMI swaps in online, I have in offline. One of those mods I did was a repositioning of a spoiler and it reverting to vanilla values (I used a trunklid/boot to reposition it). The decals do work in online and others will see it to. as the game saves the whole wrap as a solid texture of some sort.
They will see only if they have this mod as well. People who don't have this mod will see only parts that are available with the unmodded game or parts that are simply hidden and not borrowed from another car(Which is what this mod does for some parts). Hope this helps explain it.
So the decals work online and can be seen by others? Since i remember a mod who also had police decals in it but only you saw them while the others saw the default decals and looked very bad
Since the decals are replacements, others will see the default decals only. As an alternative, you can download "Decals Plus", which all of my cop pack decals are included, to avoid this issue.
They are parts swaps, so they have no cop lights data for them to blink. The only blinking lights are those from official cop units, such as the Skyline GT-R R34. For cop lights to work on official cop vehicles, add the cop light, leave the garage and press the horn button.

I love this mod...
Why is saying it is checking by Nexus server?
