The idea is great but my map icons wont appear, the traffic ai becomes dumb and stop mid road, also should have an optional download without replacing the button to join event or garage (somehow wont even show the hud when i am close to a garage) with this mod on. Will we get some fixes or updates? I would like these to get fixed and possibility to lose money when get busted. I am using fmm 1.0.6.3.
Did you be sure to place my mod at the very bottom? (So it's prioritized.)
Also I haven't found a way to loose money when being busted, and unfortunately, the new controls is what the mod depends on to work.
As for as the new controls, when exiting the garage or being near an event, all you have to do is hold down the accelerate button while at the loading screen, and keep holding it down when your car appears until you speed away from the prompt of the garage or event.
Alternatively, just reverse away from the garage or event. Or wait for your car to appear (but don't press the accelerate button) and open the map, then teleport to a gas station.
Yes it is at very bottom, it is not my icons that wont show but the image of them as you hover them on the map but besides that the mod is very fun, I hope you can manage to make it even better someday. Thanks for explanation 😎
Does it work for you now? The icons are red triangles. I made a map of where they are on the Images page here, so drive to those and you’ll see the cops parked.
It works with all the story missions and I tested it thoroughly.
However though, when first playing the story mode, I would suggest playing the vanilla game up to the part where Tyler drives the Aston Martin in a fancy suit, then close the game, then activate my mod in Frosty Mod Manager and Launch it from there then. You'll be able to play it then.
Unfortunately on the other hand, most Payback mods don't always work with the story mode cause of the state of Frosty, but this fix I told you here will fix it for you.
How to properly escape cops, just driving around seen red triangle like a racer, cops chasing me out of nowhere, no flame icon, no bait crates, how does this all work??? no map indicator of where to go to end the pursuit, help please.
The cops will pull away from you eventually, then keep driving away and then you'll escape. Also when you look in Images of the mod page, I made a map of where the cops are parked.
This version I did here completely updates and changes the idea from Bait Crates to parked cop cars pursuing you instead from when you ram them, do burnouts, or go 100+ mph past them.
This doesn't work on cracked versions, only legit copies from EA App or Steam. Also, it requires Frosty Mod Manager 1.0.6.3 at least. You can download it from their GitHub or from the website, and make sure you run Mod Manager as administrator every time.
OK so it work but now in story mode all cops cars are remplaced by rhinos and are invincible, also every checkpoint i pass says "cop wrecked 500rep" any idea ?

Hey, I have an interesting idea, just curious if you're willing to add some new things to your mod.
Can you make it possible for the AI police corvettes to be able to use their killswitch on you? I have not seen any police corvettes using their killswitches on me when I am using your mod. And can you possibly add the function for the BMW X6 M goon car to be part of your mod?
Maybe also a mod that allows the function of the police barricades to be smashable, like if you were using mac truck vs cops and they threw out police barricades and would allow you to be able to smash through them. As seen in the mission "double or nothing"
I really love your mod, works great, just curious if someday in the future you can make this possible.
Just an extra reply but I have noticed only 1 bait crate location, it's this one. For some reason only the corvettes use their kill switches on me. What I should be asking if you can please increase the chance of the corvette units from using their kill switches more often than usual, if that is possible to do.
