Dear Alex.Ka., we already know each other. I'm the one who made / converted 5 cars for NFS Most Wanted about 10 years ago. Now I have developed a new modded version of NFS Most Wanted, which also gives the possibility to switch the season when the game is launched. I achieved this by using 2 different texture-sets: one inside the /NEXTGENGRAPHICS subfolder and the other one inside the STREAML2RA.BUN file. Now: for the summer season I wanted to use directly this mod, but it did not work. The game crashes immediately at launch for some reason. Probably it needs a clean copy of the game, without other mods. So, I extracted the textuters of the vegetation from this mod and I replaced them one by one into my copy of the STREAML2RA.BUN file, together with other textures from the community RETEX mod v 1.7.1, for roads and paving. The result for the summer is a very pleasing mixture of your vegetation and the roads from the RETEX mod. Now, I would like to publish this, not for money and not for earning donation points, but just to give everyone this new possibility. Eventually, your name will be cited: on the description, on the readme file and even on the end credits of the game. I'm kindly asking you for permission. Let me know.

Can you please add the "DAMAGED ROADS" (only the roads not the interface) to this summer mod and upload it separately? I tried combing them but it does not work.
Hey there, I tried installing your mod, I copied the file and pasted it to where you said we must paste it. Upon doing this, the game runs fine, however, when I try to go to freeroam in the game, it just crashes. Could you pls provide some help with this? Thanks :)
yes, this can happen in the first use. honestly, I no longer remember how this problem is being solved. you can try to do this several times. you can also change the version of the game. I use Black Edition 1.3
Yeah man that's the exact thing happening to me too. I am in the 1.3 black edition but the game still keeps on crashing even after several attempts. please reply if you have a fix.
Really love what you did with the vegetation. You didn't just turn what was orange to green, like I did years ago, but you added some colors too. I imagine it must have taken a lot of trial and error to find just the right amount of sakura trees. I also liked the flower bed under the destructible trees, and how you turned dirt to grass.Everything with the flora is spot on, but I think you went overboard with the man made stuff, like the pavement, buildings and business fronts. It looks too punchy, specially the pavement and sidewalks. I couldn't possibly ask you to revise this. The amount of textures is huuuge, and you must like it just the way it is. But if you were to revise it, my suggestion is that you stick to the plants.
you're right. it was a very long time ago and I had little experience at that time, I experimented a lot and researched the files of the game to choose the right idea. but my main mistake was that I liked too colored and bright things. after the original bleak atmosphere, I wanted something fresher. but the small quality of the original textures disappointed me and I stopped work and this mod was not completed. I shared it because he is still able to captivate for a while.
You have inspired me to do my own version of a spring, or summer mod. It's nearly complete. I pretty much went through all the files, like you did, but I mostly color corrected them slightly to make them just a little less drab. It's not easy to replace all of them. To put it mildly, it's a nightmare. I wish NFS-TexEd had a better replace all functionality. I learned from your mod that yo can easily turn a "dead" tree into a living one, among other things.
