It works perfectly but it would be good if you show the required files in the "General Cutscenes" option, of course it was my mistake not to look at the requirements, when it didn't work in the first installation I downloaded the English Pack immediately but I could only see it at that time.
An advice for people who use, like me, an EU-Version of the game: The original files are in PAL-format, the new ones are in NTSC. All files are named this way at the end with "ntsc". To make them work, you simply have to (after the normal installation process) rename all files to "pal" and overide the original ones. You can also delete these previously.
Okay I ran into a issue. I followed the steps downloading both the general cutscenes file and English File. I copied and pasted all files replacing the movies files in my game folder. My game runs and the cutscenes have the 1080 upgrade, however it is zoomed in. Did I miss something?
I do have the Black Edition with NFS-Xtended input master with ultrawidescreen fix modded, and the HD texture pack you listed when downloading. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Do I literally just copy and paste the entire movies folder?
Are you using widescreen fix? try to set the fmv to widescreen stretched, or original, maybe you have set widescreen zoom (widescreen.ini file inside the script folder)
Thanks for the reply! I have the widescreen fixed installed. Here's what the script currently looks like
[MAIN] ResX = 0 // Use this option to control the horizontal resolution. ResY = 0 // Use this option to control the vertical resolution. FixHUD = 1 // Corrects HUD aspect ratio. FixFOV = 1 // Corrects FOV aspect ratio. Scaling = 1 // Adjusts FOV scaling. Requires FixFOV to be enabled. (0 = Original | 1 = Xbox 360 | 2 = Proportionally Correct) HUDWidescreenMode = 1 // Moves HUD to the edge of the screen for 16:9. Install NFSMW HUD Adapter for other aspect ratios. FMVWidescreenMode = 1 // FMVs will appear in fullscreen for 16:9. (1 = Cropped | 2 = Stretched)
I'm playing on a 3440 x 1440 Ultrawide monitor. I changed the FMVwidescreen mode to 2, but it then cropped the cutscences so that the was black bar on the bottom portion and cutting off the top.
set this string like this, in this way they will become 16: 9
FMVWidescreenMode = 2 // FMVs will appear in fullscreen for 16:9. (1 = Cropped | 2 = Stretched)
download this file and add it in the script folder to fix the problem of the black bar on the bottom portion and cutting off the top. https://nfsmods.xyz/uploads/mods/2151/4c35cb-NFS%20HD%20Content%20Support.zip
Im disappointed its not all the cutscenes. Its only the Blacklist, EA logo and Attract. All the story cutscenes are missing..... Also the "require file" for the HD support takes me to a site that my antivirus is NOT happy about. Can anyone verify if the HD support mod from that link is safe?
Edit: didnt see the extra download, they are all here
So I've downloaded the General Cutscenes files and the English Pack files and copied/replaced the contents inside the MOVIES folder of the original game. Ran English.bat as administrator from the same MOVIES folder and this is what I get:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Need for Speed Most Wanted\MOVIES>rename 7.vp6 blacklist_05_english_ntsc.vp6 A duplicate file name exists, or the filecannot be found. C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Need for Speed Most Wanted\MOVIES>rename 8.vp6 blacklist_06_english_ntsc.vp6 A duplicate file name exists, or the filecannot be found. C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Need for Speed Most Wanted\MOVIES>rename 9.vp6 blacklist_07_english_ntsc.vp6 A duplicate file name exists, or the filecannot be found.
