Is there any means to make the game spawn all types of traffic in all zones? So there are no zone-specific traffic types. For example, firetrucks and ambulances not only in downtown. Or the game engine is capable of handling only limited traffic diversity in each zone?
There's one traffic car that's invisible. If I will determine which one is the culprit and remove it will I have your permission to include your mod into my overhaul mod and post it on the Nexus? Awesome mod btw. EDIT: I'll also let you know which car has the issue.
First of all, thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate that! Oh really? I never noticed an invisible car, but to be honest, I haven't done a full play-through with my mods back then, my bad.
Sure, go ahead, would love to see your overhaul here on Nexus Mods! It would be nice if you could give me proper credits, that's all I ask for. Otherwise you can do whatever you want with my NFS mods.
Yeah, it would be nice if you could tell me which car is the culprit, so I can fix it when I plan to get back to NFS modding in the future.
Alright, so I have tested all of the cars added to the traffic patterns and the cars themselves don't have any issues, so my guess is that this is actually a game engine limitation of sorts.
Maybe the traffic patterns are not supposed to have more than 9 cars inside them? As I've noticed that "cityhighway" and "collegehighway" have 10. The problem could also be the fact that my mod increases the traffic density by quite a lot in free roam and tollbooth races and maybe together with your mod, the game can't properly render the cars.
Anyways, pretty difficult to determine if that's the case since the issue is random and rarely occurs.
One thing I can be certain so far is that every time I hit an invisible car, judging by it's mass I could tell it was a small car.
Still, I'll let you know if I stumble into anything, although I doubt it.
I followed those easy instructions and I believe it damaged the game. The game now says that my existing save files are damaged and cannot be loaded. Also, the game does not start in mod mode anymore. Is there a way to uninstall/revert the changes? FYI, I am running NFS MW v1.3 with mod loader.
Sorry for the late reply! I did not receive a notification. If I remember right, you need to create a new savegame for NFS-VltEd mods. You should be able to delete a mod with NFS-VltEd. I can't tell you the exact steps to do this, because the last time I modified NFS was several years ago. You should be able to find detailed instructions on the web.

I just crave for a 'homogeneous traffic' mod...
I do that with the limit adjuster mod. But it is not that reliable.
