    how do  i download mods for nfs heat if i use it on steam? i've been having trouble as all the tutorials on youtube seem to be outdated

      Get the 1.0.6.0 Alpha 5 version of Frosty Mod Manager and the "Key" here on Nexusmods so you can mod it. Launch Frosty Mod Manager and add the mods you have from there, it's pretty much straight forward from there on
