Will this fix the off center minimap issue when going at high speeds?

No, this just changes the texture. Also it isn't an issue per say, because I think the devs designed it that way on purpose. it might be possible to mod it out, I just haven't found it yet.

Could you make a .fbmod version of this mod?

Sure, I uploaded this before the mod manager worked with Heat, looks like I forgot to make fbmods for this mod.

How does a project open with a frosty editor?
Because I don't understand anything of this manual in the description

    "Open Frosty Editor
Open existing project or start new
Find UI/Textures/HUD/minimap-border and double click on it
Press import near top of window and select a new Map border
    Enjoy!"

"Open existing project or start new"
    HOW?!

"Press import near top of window and select a new Map border"
Where at the top of the window?!

Don't worry about opening existing project. I made this when the only option for mods was using .fbprojects. As for new projects it is the default when starting up. You don't need to do anything except save it if you want to go back and edit it again.
You missed a step in the directions first find the texture and open it (so that you see the pic in the window). then you will see a import button appear at the top of the window.

      • Find UI/Textures/HUD/minimap-border and double click on it
      • Press import near top of window and select a new Map border

See Picture I added for clarity

Once you have done that go to file/export to mod
