In addition to this mod erroneously unlocking all cars (see Stevequ's post and my reply below), this also causes the game to crash upon being busted — whether by timer or losing all health.
Tested with only this mod versus vanilla. Unless there's something wrong with my PC like the hardware (RTX 30 series) or drivers, it's certainly this mod.
Why does this mod unlock all cars for purchase? I get the "you unlock this car" screen for every car when i launch the game with this mod? Is that normal?
It definitely seems like it's this mod. I'm running a very slim mod list, and this is the only mod that touches this 'gameplay/tweakables/unlockallcars'. Would be great to get a version that doesn't touch that!
Dude, this mod is awesome! I'm loving the new additions and changes. I'm also hearing a couple new PD voice lines I haven't heard before which is pretty cool. The only thing I don't like is that the new PD SUVs have an excessive amount of health.
I wonder if the mod author might be someday willing to add the Rhinos themselves to the pursuits. They may be invincible but they're also slow.
Naw thank you! I worked on this for a very long time, this was essentially my sandbox for testing mods that would be worked into Project Unite for Heat, some of which never made it into Project Unite (the night skybox, unique voicelines, some other lighting effects, misc bug fixes, ect).
In regards to the Light Rhinos, yes, they have near limitless health like their Heavy Rhino counterparts. It's kinda the intention. When I was originally tinkering with the SUV's for Project Unite (I was a member with them up until last year due to... unknown reasons) I was looking for ways to implement damage deterioration (parts falling off, panel damage, ect). In my tinkering I did not find anything in regards to being able to change the SUV's health and thus there it stands.
Unfortunately I did not go into anything further with the SUV's as I soon switched over from vehicle development to lighting and particle effect development (light bar effects, sparks, ect), however Konix might have an answer in regards to SUV's being able to have health.
In regards to your request for Heavy Rhinos in pursuits, from my recollection, it would not be possible without removing a class of pursuit vehicles (CV, Charger, Corvette) due to the max being reached. This would not be ideal. Even then, I am no longer in a position to properly update it as my career path (in law enforcement of all things) has slowly taken more and more of my time away. It doesn't help that I have a heap of IRl stuff happening to me, yay disownment! I will however be switching development to a close friend of mines who will be maintaining and updating the mod with my guidance and specifications. It should take some time but it will happen, and maybe we'll take your suggestion into account and find a way to have them in chases x3.

is the mod compatible with Unite's Arcade Handling mod? JUST THE HANDLING MOD not the main mod because this mod also tweaks the cop's AI like in Unite's Arcade Handling
I noticed i have a bunch of new turbo chargers when i use this mod, i didn't find info on this on the description. Can you explain the difference since they look all the same to me? Thanks
Also, i had to convert your mod to .fbmod to use it with other mods that use the mod manager. Everything works fine with the 1.6.0 alpha 3 version of the mod manager. Just letting you know if you want to upload the .fbmod yourself for other users.
Meow! I rarely use this website, not to mention I'm not exactly on the scene anymore so apologies for the late response. The mod at that time was based off Heat + as stated. I redid the whole mod, removing Heat + in the process of rewriting it and it is now a standalone mod which can be used with any other mods (aka it's a .fbmod file now). There's also been numerous changes since version 2, I suggest you try it out!
