When using this, (I am also using multiple other mods which could be a problem) but when I start a new game and done the first night, I only levelled up 1 to 3 with 60k rep, is this normal?
This is balanced around longer cop chases. With this mod you have much more HP (default HP + passive items), significantly decreased damage from driving into water and you gain way more rep from destroying cop cars. You should be easily able to pull of 600k+ rep per night if you are able to dance with heat 5 for a few minutes :) (Do 2-3 night races and afterwards get to heat 5 and escape).
It doesn't work for me. I've added it to Frosty's Mod Manager and launched the game yet it changes nothing. For example performing a 1 star jump provided $3k and still does. It shows that the mod is for different version but I've run both Cyberpunk 2077 and Mass Effect Andromeda in such case without any problems.
Hey @Rabenze, sorry for the late reply, I haven't been here for a while. It is possible! I updated the installation steps, but here they are anyways, just in case:
Installation: - Install Frosty Mod Manager (you can find instructions for how to do this on Unite's Discord Server) - Install DatapathFixPlugin (closely follow the install instructions on the GitHub page) - Extract the zip file anywhere, so that you can see the .fbmod file - Press the Add Mod(s) button, locate the previously mentioned .fbmod file, select it and press the Open button - Press the Apply Mod(s) button - Press the Launch button to start the game
Got it working, and everything's going well so far. The hp boost to the base car is a nice touch, and I haven't had a chance to battle the cops yet. But I wish the AI racers scaled with the player. I'm playing on hard and I won the first two races really easily, just walked away from everyone.
(Edit: It's going to take some getting used to the new rep calculations, heat boost, and game economy. But I've already beaten the game like 5 times (it's my favorite NFS ever--by far) and I've been trying to find a new way to approach it. So I'm going to stick with it and try to treat it like a new game. I'm also going to hold on to my reservations about the AI skill level until I have more hours in this version. Thanks for the effort.)
This mod crashes the mod manager when I import it and then when I reopen the mod manager again the mod does not appear in the mods list but when I try to add the mod again the mod manager reports the mod already exists and then simply crashes again, however it is in the mods folder inside the mod manager folder.
I have retested your report by doing the following:
1. Installed a fresh copy of NFS Heat (Origin) 2. Downloaded the latest Frosty Toolsuite 3. Downloaded my mod from Nexus Mods 4. Gave admin permissions to Origin, Heat and Frosty Mod Manager 5. Ran Origin 6. Ran Frosty Mod Manager 7. Added Heat Gameplay Improvements mod that I downloaded in step 3 8. Applied the mod 9. Launched the game via Frosty Mod Manager
I was not able to reproduce the issue you stated. If you are having issues, try to follow the steps I stated above. This may be able to help you out
I'm sad to hear this, but this is something that is caused by the Forsty MM itself. My mod does not have any custom scripts that could cause it to crash. And I've double checked the data fields, all seems fine to me. Not sure if there is a way to fix it. It would be good to report the issue to the Frost MM team, if you have the crash logs.
Hi. I'm try my best but I can't get the game to run. I have Deluxe edition because it's included in the Origin thing. I tried several versions of FMM but they all end the loading, nothing happens for a few seconds and Origin screens comes to front as when you finish to play a game.
I know is not your mod's fault, it shows and all in FMM but I don't know where else to ask on how can I run the game with FMM. Thanks!

Would appreciate being able to disable only the HP aspect and keep all the other general changes. Only because the HP alert is annoying online.

Would appreciate a version that does not increase player health but everything else the same personally.

Try out different versions of Frosty Mod Manager.
It can happen if you reuse the same save when switching between an unmodded and modded game.
