Hello! Thank you for your great mod! I have one little problem. When I enable both No FilmicFX (any of them) and Gameplay module, vignette doesn't disappear. When I disable "Gameplay module", "No FilmicFX" mod works as intended
I am having the same issue with the Gameplay module, as are 2 of my friends. A shame, as what that module does is really nice.
But, the darkness is completely unplayable on the default graphics preset. I've found that the Storm and Overcast graphics presets seem to work without the vignette, but I want to play at night.
No idea how or why the gameplay module would be causing this. I can't really see any obvious conflict within Frosty Mod Manager's barebones file interface, either. I've tried many load order configurations, different "filmic fx" disabling mods, disabling those mods altogether, no help. The game takes forever to start, so it was painful narrowing down the cause of this vignette in the first place, let alone troubleshooting interactions with my load order.
With the gameplay module + the default graphics preset + enhanced wet particle effects, vignette appears. Disable the gameplay module, it disappears and looks bright again.
Hopefully the mod author can find some time to read this, and maybe get the issue fixed for us. But the mod hasn't been updated in a while, so I think we may be on our own.
In the meantime, I'm going to try and learn FrostyEditor to see if I can figure this out. If I manage to fix it, I'll comment back here.
Is there a video explaining how to install this mod? I tried to follow the steps in the readme but I wasn't successful in changing the climate... It's dark (like the original). And even putting everything
Loving the mod so far. Thanks a lot! One caveat though, the handling module makes drifting impossible for me! I can't initiate and keep it going as reliably as Vanilla! I'm using a fully drift-tuned Nissan that scores over 100K Vanilla drift points, but with this module, I'd be lucky to get 20!! It's the only mod I'm using too, and just turning off the module temporarily makes me return to the working Vanilla drifting mechanics. Such a bummer, though.
If you're on steam & using frosty mod manager 1.0.6.2, go to frosty discord server. Check the pinned post in troubleshoot. Download and apply the attached plugin.
fala cabeça de rola, vou te ajudar meu mano, simplesmente faça o seguinte, vou te mandar um video que o camarada faz no NFS heat, mas n se preocupe, funciona neste tambem ok
Hello, when you connect the Gameplay Module a terrible hum appears on all cars, the higher the speed, the greater this noise, something similar to sounds BMW M3 MW, please tell me how to get rid of this sound?
That's the transmission whine becoming louder as you have a lighter & more stripped car. If you want to reduce it, don't install the weight reduction kits.
I also wanted to clarify, in the optional mods there is a mod to reduce damage, could you make a mod that will remove all damage, or at least send me the mod itself in the format .project I would try to change everything myself
maybe I'll include a no damage mod in the next update. As for the transmission sound, you'll have to mod the transmission sound settings to be low. look for Veh_Transmission_Master in frosty editor & set loudness to a lower value.
Hi I added this mod and don’t see any change at all, no tuning changes the tuning pics you have shown I have none of that in my game, the mods all on and applied through frosty can’t seem to get none to work.. not getting any errors or anything so pretty confused, any ideas?
If you're running the game on EA App (or steam+ea app), you need to apply the datapath fix for frosty, disable in-game overlay & command-line arguments
I got it working but for some reason the weather mods and some others make my game unplayable constant shuddering, only about 5 mods work fine, I had to go on frosty mod tools then options enable platform launching try and load the game then cancel it off and turn it off then launch it for it to work very strange had to do it for unite to work as well, but nfs heat had no problems with the mods it’s a strange one 🤷🏻♂️
Try reducing the effects level to High/medium if you get stutters with graphics mods. The particle effects mods specially the clear weather version is very resource/gpu memory intensive.
where did you choose the Platform Launching Origin? Also where can I find the datapath fix? Thank you EDIT: I found it in the Frosty mod manager -> Tools -> Options -> Platform Launching: then choose Origin or EA Launcher. For me EA worked
quick question to anyone using the mod, is there a way to tune your cars outside of the garage so I don't have to go back and front between tuning for drift events? I thought it was included in this mod but I could be wrong.
