Was all excited to see this mod, download it, install it. Load the game and run to A&G. Well crap, still need those damn aluminum plates. lol I'm purposefully dragging the game out. I'm halfway through autumn, year 1, and still haven't repaired the lift yet, let alone not even remotely close to getting to the desert. And while I do have your Invasion mod and occasionally get aluminum ore or bars/wire, it's not enough. lol
And I could use the item spawner to cheat in the ore, plates, etc. I'm trying not to use it.
Do not worry. We should not be worried too much about our progress relative to the timeframe of the game. Just take it easy and have fun. My advice would be is to always give discs to the research center whenever you have the opportunity. This could help you obtain the diagram for electric furnace to make those aluminum plates in no time. Honestly, this mod will only be effective once you made those electric furnaces and once you have those, it is inevitable that you are quite close already in finishing the harbor.
So, what you're saying is that this mod is worthless other than to unlock the factory a little earlier in the game. Kind of a waste, don't you think? "Hey, here's the Factory. You can't build it, but it's here once you unlock the last abandoned ruins. About the same time you'd unlock it anyway." What a joke.
