Hi.
Thanks to this chap here:

I found out that you can use any SQL browser to switch item id's to fool the game that you are building something else than you would be normally.
Personally I think that the factory is locked behind a huge plot wall and should be available much sooner.
So I made this little modification to the database, to fool the game into thinking that level 2 factory is a coop that costs a few stones and 1 gol to build. Alongside it, the same I did to the assembly station so you can havve automated assembly from Day 1. More over, I modififed the amount of gol you get from the very 1st mission to 73500, so oyu can have just enough gol to buy the land you need.
So you build a coop, but instead you will place a factory.
Existing coops, will not be able to be destroyed, though, because the game sees factory as a coop and coop as a factory.
All you need to do is switch the database file, LocalDb.bytes at:
<Drive>:\<InstallDirectory>\Portia_Data\StreamingAssets\CccData
Now, the most important part. I included a backup of the original databaase file in case things go south. I didn't make it far enough to the game to unlock the original factory so I am not sure how the game will react to this. You can always restore the original file when you advance the plot enough to built one anyway.
@edit
Well, I made it far enough, I built a "Factory" and the game didn't crash. So, I think it's safe.
Enjoy :)
