Hello, in your post you mentioned activating qUINT by Marty McFly. What do you mean by that exactly? I don't know where to find this. Is it another mod? This is my first time adding a mod to MTAP.

when you install reshade it shows you a bunch of packages, qUINT is the first one available under the default package. simply turn it on when installing reshade to the game. all you need is the latest version of reshade :D

I dont know if youre still active, but I'll cross my fingers haha.

So, Ive been trying to use reshade to fix the game graphics myself but I would so much rather use your configs. Youve done a really good job. However, I just cant seem to work out how to install/plug in your file so that it reflects in game. Ive followed all the instructions you provided carefully: have reshade installed, with the auto setting and the qUINT by Marty McFly installed as well. I've opened the game after just regular installation of reshade to check that I did so properly and familiarized myself first with some of the qUINT provided stuff, then placed your .ini file inside my game folder (same location as reshade/their files). I then reopen and select your files name instead of default, press reload, and nothing changes. I closed the game down and restarted again thinking that it would help with your file included still but again no difference.

I tried both selecting and unselecting all of the boxes (LUT etc) that are underneath the dropdown menu you use to select your preset file but have absolutely no visual changes applied to the game.

So, I'm a bit stumped.. I'm obviously doing something wrong but I can't figure out what it is. If it's not too much to ask (and you are obviously not obligated in any way) it would be super helpful to write the description as if youre talking to someone who has never used reshade before. Or if its really apparent what Im doing wrong, Id be super grateful if you pointed me in the right direction!

Thanks for sharing your work, its really really well done :)

ok it sounds like you are using maybe the wrong exe? sometimes games will have 2 seperate EXE files and it will require you to install it on the other one instead of the one you are using. so when you are installing reshade and type in say "portia" if you get 2 different portias then try the 2nd one.

if not that then i dont know what the issue can be. but that is what it sounds like. :)

      thanks for the compliment btw~

Hey! awesome, thanks for replying to my long winded needs haha!

Hmm.. I dont think thats it because when I fiddle with the sliders I can see that its altering my graphics so its definitely able to find the game Im using. If thats what you meant at least. I'm not seeing any other possible portia related options to choose but thats a good thought. The only thing I thought of recently was if we were using different versions of Reshade because they did have an update in January? The most recent version Ive been using is 4.9.1. Is that the one you're using too?

yes thats what im using as well. I can jump into the game and so some testing to make sure but the update should not have changed anything. :)

another thing you can try is to make sure you are using the correct type. the game is for directx10-11-12 so if you installed it with another it wont work properly.

but ill get back to ya when i check

ok I checked and it works as intended for me on the most recent version of reshade. did you access the file in the top menu and activate the settings? you have to access the file and click it to activate them.

other than the few things i mentioned it should be working perfectly. so its definitely something on your end if these arent working as well :(

Oh, Im sorry -  I missed your replies somehow! Thanks for going out of your way to double-check that for me.

No, no I totally agree. It's definitely not a problem with your file...  I'll do another fresh install and make sure it's not the wrong type. I do remember it automatically choosing a 'directx' so that's actually a really good suggestion. One more thought, and this is a bit of a stretch but when choosing quints mcbloom during installation, you can choose to check the box with a checkmark or fill in the square.. do you by chance remember which one you chose?

I'll figure it out at some point though and I just know it's embarrassingly simple lol. Especially as I haven't found a single relatable comment thread anywhere about a popular program. Regardless, I really really appreciate your help! When I do figure it out I'll try to follow up so maybe a future ego can avoid the bruising haha.

The comparison images look fantastic! Thanks for this preset. I'm just wondering what's "Quints Mcbloom" so I don't mess up when installing =)

when you install reshade, you will get a bunch options with  boxes to check them. the vanilla package will be set already, but underneath the vanilla package will be quints blooms. just check it on to include it into the install :).

also thanks a lot I hope it improves the visuals a bit for you :)
