tho ig theres still the repairable ruscko mod. It still works perfectly fine and to some people is even better than this one since you are the one doing most of work, not fleetari
so after some playing around i've determined that this still works, here's the procedure that worked for me:
i downloaded both 1.2.1 and 1.0 and used the .dll from 1.2.1 but the assets from 1.0, resulting in a working poster and fleetari taking the keys and letting me drive the ferndale. after a couple of days, the mod started to throw an error in the console on saving, and about a week later fleetari started calling to demand i return the ferndale. unfortunately, the ruscko wasn't restored when i get there, maybe if you play the game for a week straight ingame without saving it might work. instead, the workaround is to first, close the game completely, go into TheRusckoRestorationProject.xml in C:\Users\[yourprofile]\AppData\LocalLow\Amistech\My Summer Car, and change <fleetariWaitOpen>false</fleetariWaitOpen> to <fleetariWaitOpen>true</fleetariWaitOpen> as well as <restorationDone>false</restorationDone> to <restorationDone>true</restorationDone> please note i have no idea what WaitOpen means, maybe if you leave it as false it will be fine, i've just seen in the comments that changing that works for other people. also note, for me <fleetariDay>14</fleetariDay> was at 14, you may have to change it from a different number to 14. of course, you can skip waiting for fleetari to call you by just editing the .xml as soon as you drop the ruscko off and save, but i would like to know if it's possible for the mod to work without doing that and just by playing the game and not saving
if you get the inspection done, the police will still give you a fine. getting an inspection done is only worth it if you want the license plates.
I can confirm this works for me, 1.2.1 DLL and 1.0 Assets while skiping time. If anyone is struggling to get the car serviced, its the poster of the Ruscko on the wall of the Inspection Shop.
I can confirm this still works mid 2023 however the posters didnt spawn for me until it was restored. all I had to to extra was channging <fleetariOrdered>false</fleetariOrdered> to <fleetariOrdered>true</fleetariOrdered> in the .XML ofc this means that you wont be charged but u can simply remove 30.000mk from ur balance in msc editor.
