I had this problem myself, unfortunately, I only found one subpar way to fix it. I ended up starting a new save file and getting the latest download of the mod. So if you have a really old saved file, that could be the problem. If it still doesn't work, it might be a conflicting mod that just isn't throwing any errors.
My main issue with this mod is that it doesnt make it so that the garage is a smooth floor. When walking over the pit covers, you can tell that there is a difference in height, and this interfers with mods like Mechanic's Crawler Board when moving the board under the car, it collides with the pit covers and refuses to move further, because of that difference in height I was talking about.
Basically, the colliders for them need smoothing, although getting them to be perfectly aligned with the floor, may be a nightmare, so I understand if you dont fix/update this.
Also, one minor issue for me is that spray-painting them isnt saved. When saving/reloading they restore their original color. Cant say I care that much about painting them though.
Thanks for the feedback. If I remember correctly, the height difference have something to do with the collision layers. I think collision layer for the ground that collides with car tires, it's not the same as the layer used on garage floor, or the layer that's used for big car jack that collides with the ground. And I think mod covers, use the basic ground layer in the collisions, and by default the car tires and player sink a bit into the ground collision. But, I will take a look and see if anything can be improved about that.
As far as the paint isn't saving, I can't say i am able to reproduce the issue. But I will take a further look in to it soon as possible as well.

Any suggestions?
Edit: Nvm I found them they are next to the big motor at the repair shop

Is there a alternative?
