This is a false positive, I'm sure it will happen with many DLLs. Nexus has virus scanning even for the files hosted on their site, unless it is huge. I uploaded it to virus total even and no flags. I believe Nexus also uses virus total. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/8c2cab9056ad70a672539d8b805ddb84fe758e7dfc3bf31b1a7c8ecce89f0792
Of course if you aren't comfortable with using it then go ahead and delete/not use. Though if you are using windows defender only, I'm sure it will complain about any dll as mentioned above.
Thank You for taking the time to remake this. Really love the vague hints option.
Edit: Small thing but when holding a spanner it tells me the spanner is the too big when looking at screws. nothing game breaking, but a small annoyance. Also doesn't save setting for vague descriptions so i have to tell it every time a play.
Yes one difference of my remake vs original is it makes more sense (to me at least) saying the spanner is too big or too small compared to the bolt rather than the other way around.
As for it not saving the setting you chose, it should. In my testing it always saved which mode you were in. I will double check as well to make sure it isn't some string/number issue. When you set the value from the dropdown, check your mod folder and Config/Mod Settings/DisplayBoltSize folder and check the xml to see the value is set to 1 or 2. 0 is the direct number, 1 should be the vague descriptions and 2 is the more accurate descriptions.
When looking at Screws not bolts. I think it shouldn't say anything or say wrong tool while holding the spanner/ratchet. I'll doublecheck the mods settings file and see if that helps with my other issue. Thank you for the reply :D
Edit: checked file before launch, reads as 2. Still shows just the size. Picked size and then description. Works as intended. File still reads as 2. started game again. Goes back to saying size. File still reads as 2.
Oh I see what you are saying for the screws. Yes I agree and will make a change for that. For the loading the setting thing, It sounds like it just isn't honoring the setting when loading, which is weird because I tested that and it worked fine in my testing, but I'll test again and try to iron that out. Thanks for feedback
I did this remake because the existing one(s) no longer work with latest modloader and authors had no intention to update, and gave permissions for anyone to take it forward. And I really like this mod so was sad that latest wasn't working
However mine has worked plenty fine if you have used mod loader pro it works just fine, people need to realize that the original modloader is outdated and it doesn't work for most mods
