This clocks eat through batteries like it's an electric grill. I think battery consumption should be at least 4 times lower. Or, maybe, add setting to configure how long batteries last. IRL, such clocks may run on a single AA battery for more than a year. And in-game batteries are C size, which means they are even more long lasting.
yeah but what's the point if you basically never have to change the battery? I meant to make it so it starts drifting after around 7 in game days, if it's shorter than that I may have done a math mistake... again ::)
oh and the game's set in 95, I haven't looked much into it but alkaline batteries werent the norm all the time, the batteries in game are probably carbon-zinc which hold like 1/3rd the energy of alkaline ones. those were also called "Heavy Duty" irl usually.
