After using the mod for some time, I've come to a conclusion of my experience.
It's great, however as I mainly play with keyboard and mouse (as I can't be bothered to connect my wheel every time I want to play the game), I find the clutch quite annoying, which is on my part, nothing to do with the mod. Especially as it's probably been tuned to try and be realistic, a petrol clutch on a truck. I can drive the satsuma without "autoclutch" enabled, works like a charm, when I take the truck for a spin, I must be dropping the clutch/releasing it too early, it stalls so much !
The only other negative I can say on it is that after it's been parked on the driveway at home, it'll slide, like rotate itself gradually after saving, why can't it just stay where I originally placed it rather than sliding.
SUGGESTION: You could make this car more interactive by requiring us to refill the oil/coolant, not sure how technical this would be in terms of scripting.
Since Mod Loader Pro is abandoned and outdated, to get mod working properly on Regular ModLoader you need to download ModLoader Compatibility References Tool: https://www.nexusmods.com/mysummercar/mods/732
You can edit the mods .xml in your save folder to change the key value to true. Should be the first line. But all you have to do to get it normally is complete grandma's first errand (fish/Groceries) which is easily done within the first few days of a new game.
