Hello! As you might've noticed, MOP has not received any updates to its source code since December 2022. Therefore I'd like to officially announce a permanent end of work on Modern Optimization Plugin.

MOP and its source code will remain available, with hope that the project will be taken over by someone else. You may still use the mod while it still works, but no new features, bug fixes, or updates will be provided (that also means no possible My Winter Car version). The rule file service will remain available until the end of this year, but likely after that it will be shut down. The project's GitHub will be archived and remain public. No new issues on GitHub issue tracker will be accepted, and those remaining will be closed. The MOP Wiki will also be shut down eventually.

The reasons why I decided to close the project are:

• I am tired of working on MOP, it's a really time consuming project, requiring hours of debugging and testing.
• I want to move on to some greater projects.
• I don't play My Summer Car anymore.
• I simply don't have time to work on it, ever since I started coding professionally.
• I don't use Windows anymore, so coding MOP requires me to start up a Virtual Machine and it's honestly annoying.
