With the release of MOP 3.4, due to popular demand, MOP is back on MSCLoader. It took a while to port everything over to work on MSCLoader (some things have to be cut), but I'm looking forward to everyone giving it a try :)

What was changed

Much of the back-end things have been updated - the way MOP stores information about configuration and rule files has been streamlined. The settings have been updated to work with the newest version of MSCLoader, as well the new loading screen - inspired by its load screen.

Unfortunately, the resolution change has to be removed from the MOP settings, due to the way settings are implemented in MSCLoader - being way more restrictive than Mod Loader Pro ones.

What about other mods?
In the coming days, other mods made by me will make their way to MSCLoader. The first will be Save Slots.

In terms of Fifth Gear, unfortunately, I lost the source code of the latest (0.4) version of the mod, which means I have to recreate all 0.3 and 0.4 changes from scratch. And even then, some of the new stuff will be hard or even impossible to port over.

The following mods are definitely coming to MSCLoader soon:

  • Save Slots
  • Actual Mop
  • Tweaks Pack

Why "Bugs" tab is missing on the MOP mod page?
The reason why I disabled the Bugs tab is simple - almost ALL of the latest bug reports have been generated using a PIRATED copy of the game.
I really don't care if you pirate My Summer Car or not (although I think you should support the developer), but I cannot guarantee that MOP will work with your outdated MSC version.

Besides that, managing bugs on NexusMods is an absolute nightmare - the interface is unintuitive, and keeping the track of conversation is tedious.

If you want to file a bug report, you can do so on GitHub, or by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

I'm very happy for all those MSCLoader players! :D

Is anything planned for Mod Loader Pro users, Athlon? I've been hoping for an update for a while. :)

As always, good job on making the game smooth and thank you for the fun memories I made, I'm sure I couldn't have made them if it weren't for your work on making the game smooth. :D

I think Mod Loader Pro is basically dead in the water.

I've seen a lot of complaints that MOP is only available for Mod Loader Pro, that's why I decided to port it. I don't have time to work on Mod Loader Pro, and on MOP I only work during my free time (which I don't have a lot, as ever since I started university in September, I focus on studying).

No, MOP does not require any extra dependencies.
