ModUtils won't work on older game versions - If you are a pirate this is likely the case of why it does not work. I will not help you if you don't own a legit copy of game.
If you have an issue (X mod not working, ModUtils not loading) and do you own the game, please attach your player.log file too! To get this file, press Windows + R and put the following: %appdata%/../LocalLow/Viking/My Garage
To upload it, use something like Google Drive (make the file public) or WeTransfer. I generally answer in less than 24 hours. Thanks!
Mod updates aren't working for me. Every time I start the game the message that mod updates are available pops up but when I click install now I get a NameResolutionFailure error.
Hey man, just a little recommendation. I had the same problem as IOvanQ below. That fix of adding the special line in steam launcher options fixed the issue to me too. I don't use Steam Deck, but Linux Mint, so you can be certain that it will totally work in any Linux distribution and I'd be glad if you can add that special fix for Linux users in the readme file, not only not to waste time looking for a solution, but also because that previous may get lost overtime. I read that you are not familiar with Linux, so you may add the following step for linux users if you like:
For Steam Deck/Linux Users: In order to make ModUtils work, you need to follow these steps: 1) Open Steam and go to Library tab. 2) Search for "My Garage" game, right-click it and then click Properties options. 3) You will see that a new window opened. In the "General" tab (the first one), go to the end and look for "Launch Options" 4) Copy below this text as it is in the blank. Don't erase any quote:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%
5) You can close the properties window and launch the game now.
Not much by itself. Mods could add their own application, but this never worked well. Has been deleted for next version as i never finished the feature.
i install this mod step by step and CarSpawwner notwworking and no building on beach please help in June everything worked well, now I decided to play in My Garage and nothing works My player.log file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QZ7VZE29RtZfVvCxMJN4iPDtTcWJ0-I1/view?usp=drive_link
I see you are running on a Steam Deck (If i'm not wrong).
I currently do not have a proper installation guide for Steam Deck / Linux in general. Somebody send me this and said it fixed to them, but i have no clue where it should go: "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%"
Also, you could try installing BepInEx for Linux (Remove winhttp.dll file from game folder first). It may work as expected doing so, but i cant assure you much.
I'm currently saving to buy a Steam Deck here, but is taking a while since they are pretty expensive on my country (+1k$)
Thank you for this fix, to clarify for anyone using linux or the steam deck, this command needs to go into the games launch options in Steam: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%
hi i was thinking does this load all mods at same time or does this load them? when i have enough mods it crashes and i have to wait 10 minutes and then again wait when loading save it seems like it is trying to do too much at same time

Do you have access here from your browser? https://modding.fedes.uy
Do I have to create an account on there?
Do you mind talking to me on Discord so i can share with you a custom version to try to fix the issue? fedes.uy
I use the same name there.
