Changelogs
Version 1.2.5
Fixed healbars not showing sometimes, or not at all during tournaments/arena fights. However this still isnt perfect on places like the tavern or the streets
Added horse health bar below troop health bar (note: may need adjusting based on feedback)
Added "MountHealthBars", "MountHealthBarFillColour", "MountHealthBarEmptyColour" to config
Other stuff I may have missed and forgot to put on here
Version 1.2.4
Fixed the troops equipment not showing in the encyclopedia (thanks vlahster for pointing this out)
Version 1.2.2
It's now possible to edit the width and height of the health bar (thanks stupidaccountt for the suggestion)
There are now two separate files for the latest stable version (1.5.2) and the beta branch (1.5.3) (thanks Sir7Failalot for bringing this to my attention. I don't play Bannerlord much anymore so I wouldn't have noticed on my own.)
Fixed a minor bug where if an agent didn't have full health AND the config reloaded, OR the agent spawned on the battlefield with less than full health, the health bar wouldn't properly represent said agents health until they take damage.
Version 1.2.1
fixed an exception being thrown when encountering a party that immediately surrenders, most commonly bandits/looters (thanks LordCTH)
config should now be read properly when the game loads (thanks Dantelian12 and again mdub07)
Version 1.2.0
Added a working config
health bars now work properly in tournaments
health bars now fade when troops die (current doesn't work properly in some contexts)
integer overflow should now be fixed thanks to refactored code
refactored a lot of code to (hopefully) make the mod run more efficiently. Please let me know if it runs better/worse than the previous version.
Version 1.1.3
Fixed a scaling issue with resolutions other than 1920x1080 (thanks to mdub07 for trying different solutions for me and yhyu13 for showing me the video that gave me the epiphany)
Deleted unneeded dlls (thanks to yhyu13 for pointing this out)
Slightly changed how the empty bar colour is chosen. Do let me know if the old method is prefered
Mod is now thread safe (I think)
Version 1.1.2
- Fixed the issue with 1.3.0 Beta branch and should now work with both versions.
- Fixed the duplicate bar bug.
- Fixed crashing on big battles
- fixed an exception call that was constantly being called
Version 1.1.1
- Should now be a nice contrast between the filled and empty parts of the health bar. If there are any exceptions please screenshot it and share.
- Health bars are now above the troops heads, even when mounted. However don't expect a smooth transition.
- Health bars are now optimized to the point that I'm not even sure they impact frames anymore.
- NOTE: The duplicate bars are still in I'm afraid so my advice on which file to use is still the same... I might have to find help if I can't fix it soon.
Version 1.1.0
- Slight change to the order of the widgets so they center properly
- Health bars now change size based on distance and match the primary colour of their teams banner
- There are now two separate files to download based on whether you want your allies to have health bars including the enemy
Note: There is currently a bug where duplicate bars are seen if there are troops behind you. Because of this I personally recommend you only download the "EnemyOnly" file considering you will spend most of your time facing the enemy.
This mod is pretty much finished. I will still do my best to keep the mod updated so that it is playable for current versions.
Adjusting the healthbar in the options menu most likely isnt going to be implemented. I have too much going on right now and this mod is at the bottom of my priorities.
Installation: 1. Extract the folder into your modules. 2. Remember to enable the mod. 3. ??? 4. Profit.
Instructions: Open Config.xml located in the mod file if you want to edit anything and change how the health bars are rendered.
If you make any changes to the config while the game is running make sure you pause the game and press the health bar toggle key (H by default)
To reset everything back to default, delete the Config xml and start the game with the mod enabled. You might need the game to run as admin if you are having issues doing this.
Read the comment in the xml file for more information.
