I have a crazy experience with this mod. There a times I run into this issue multiple time And the only way for me to fix this is to turn off anything that involves in .Net or C++. In my case, I'm still leaving my VSC open. When I turned it off, there was no error. So just turn off any coding section or relative to something required to run a .dll file, and you'll be good.
Managed to get it working by having Automatic Crossbow as the only mod enabled initially to get the mod initialized because the mod needs to create a file(?) or initialize something that doesn't exist upon first start up hence the load failed warnings.
Assuming you are on the main menu, close the game and launch the game again now the mod should be working as you don't get any load failed warning.
Now you can enable all the disabled mods & put Automatic Crossbow at the end of the load order as that tends to fix issues caused by other mods. You may have to manually test each mod to see which mod crashes upon start up or is incompatible with this mod.
Version 1.2.8 for me have a weird issue of the weapon not firing the projectile so i use 1.0.1.5325 instead although this maybe because im playing on an older build (Bannerlord v1.1.6) Incompatible mods that i tested are: Custom Crosshair Achievement Unblocker
I've downloaded the latest version (v1.2.8), which matches my game version, however with this mod enabled the game doesn't load - I can't even get to the main menu.
Cant get the mod to work. No matter what I do, the game just says 'cant locate autocrossbow.dll', despite me unblocking/trying many different installs, reinstalls and other modding tools

it shows all the hidden CE skills in the character screen, and they don't work any more
did you find a solution?
