Changelogs
The mod adds two non-historical (meaning this didn't happen in real life) but plausible (meaning it was a very real possibility) minor clans to the game with the purpose of adding a slight flavour to your Shokahu playhrough. It was originally intended as a personal mod and as I am not a modder for Bannerlord, this will be barebones. It will only have the following below

- Two Minor Clans (Ming Dynasty Formation & Spanish Expedition)
- Weapons & Armor for the troops (using vanilla assets and shokohu assets).
- Custom Mercenary Troop tree (three each)
- Barebones culture & Non-Japanese faces for lords and troops for each minor clan

Minor Clan (mercenary) Troop Tree
The troop tree was designed with as much historical accuracy as possible while leaning more towards game balance and sacrificing actual strengths in real life for the sake of gameplay flavour (such as not giving Chinese guns) and not giving the Spanirds a sword and shield unit which they would've had in the mid 1500's. The Ming Dynasty was designed after Ming Weisuo system (or a part of it) while the Spanish Expedition was designed after the Tercio system. Ming being kind of like old-school roman type of combat, while Spanish being the pike and shot that we know.

Ming Dynasty Troops
Tier 2 - Ming Tengpai Bing
Shield units to hold the line, low damage.

Tier 3 - Ming Gong Bing
Archers, nothing special.

Tier 4 - Ming Wushi - Veteran Sword and Shield Units
Veteran sword & shield unit - meant to stay behind shield units and eliminate enemies that break through or maneuver to the flanks by themselves to exert pressure.

Spanish Expedition
Tier 3 - Spanish Piqueros
These pikemen are designed to hold the line while Arcabuceros take pot shots towards the enemy.

Tier 4 - Spanish Jinetes
Light Cavalry armed with lances for charging, sword for close fighting and a light shield for protection. The Spaniards usually used these as scouts.

Tier 5 - Spanish Arcabuceros - Best gun unit in the game.
Best gun unit in the game.

FAQ U (Frequenty Asked Questions of Understanding)

Q - where are they?
A - they spawn a few days after game start. Spaniards in Kanto (by port Linuma) and Chinese in Hokuriku (by port Oyama)

Q - Is it balanced?
A - Tried to balance it to the best of my biased ability.

Q - Can you craft weapons added by this mod?
A - No. If you want you can edit it yourself by deleting hidden in the xmls. But you might get crashes when mixing it with Shokohu items and they won't look nice anyway.

Q - Can you purchase weapons / armor from this mod on markets in-game?
A - No. You can also edit this yourself by deleting the hidden flags I've added. I kept them hidden because they're meant to be rare.

Q - Can you make a character as a culture added by the mod (Chinese, Spanish)?
A - No, it's barebones.

Q - Can you recruit the troops?
A - Not without using other mods no. The mod is meant to provide this unique side-dish that you will see from time to time and their troop tree (having shields, strongest gun etc.) is designed to make you go "wtf they have that" when you randomly fight an army that has them as mercenaries. They're meant to be rare.

Compatability & Stability
- I have managed to play with this sub-mod past 700 days with no crashes whatsoever. There will definately be instances where you will crash (refer to known issues). I also think you might crash if you try and do something non-vanilla to the lords added by this mod (like wife them up and change their appearance). But I haven't tested it myself.

Known Issues:
- Some placeholder text and images here and there that I cannot be bothered to sort out.
- It will crash if you serve as a soldier for the Spaniards. In saying that unless if you want a boring early game, don't serve any of the minor clans.
- It will definately crash if you try and edit the Spanish troop tree using troop editor mods because it uses a skin that the main mod has half-removed and it takes too much effort to revert the change for a simple minor clan flavour mod.

Side Comment:
- I spent half a day trying to get a script to work to force the two minor clans to delete non-troop-tree units and replace them with troop tree units on a daily basis so that they're fully unique. Unfortunately, I give up. So if someone wants to do that happy days.
