Hello! Diplomacy now integrated with the Crowdin! If you want your localization to be integrated into the mod and are ready to work on it, join our project!
We also need someone to create and maintain a new wiki on the project. Please, contact me on our discord server, if you are interested to help.
There was in issue with the crowdin project, due to wich huge portion of the translatable strings was not recognised. Should be fixed now. Also, if you know any free analogues for group localization projects, please PM me in discord or write here.
well, when I try to start a rebellion via abdication within factions , the game crashes I don't know why I sent report . If you guys can find time take a look at that .
While being a mercenary of Sturgia, a Succession rebellion triggered successfully and it prompted me who to join. Accepting the rebelion side made me into a vassal of the new kingdom rather than a mercenary.
Voting after an abdication rebellion should follow the same rules as normal (such as after a ruler dies), whether they are vanilla or modified by some other mod. In vanilla, IIRC, every vassal has a vote, but I don't remember how candidates are chosen.
It was a bit weird. I was part of the abdication faction, rebellion started. I captured the current emperor and executed him. Following that this message popped up: The council of X has chosen x as the new ruler - no chance to vote. The interesting part is, when I dont execute but free him, short after rebellion ends (wins) and he is emperor again. BUT a vote pops up: Vote for the next ruler of x The vote should pop up after the ruler gets killed/executed in a rebellion or not?
The game seems to take a family member as new emperor if I execute him, which means the rebellion 'Wins' cause a succesor was automatically picked. (Me freeing the emperor didnt have anything to do with ending the rebellion, if he stays my captive we win too)
I've read the version that was active around the time of my reply) I've also created a copy of this thread in the Bugs tab. If you find more details, please share them there.
According to the author of Feudal Warfare it does not touch politics at all. Hence, its compatible with diplomacy. Same author created Succession Laws and Civil Wars and that mod is touching politic stuff but its compatible as well with diplomacy.
I have not checked that specific mod, but Diplomacy was made with compatibility in mind and total conversion mods are no different in that regard. So, unless other mod heavily changes same stuff that Diplomacy does, they should work fine together.
I'm a bit confused about the influence decay options. How do the Influence balancing options work exactly?
Do any of the Influence scaling/balancing related "Diplomacy" options affect the AI at all or is it all player side?
Do you have to have 'Enable Influence Balancing" enabled in order for "Corruption" and "Influence Decay" to work?
How exactly does "Corruption" work? How much does it take off? How much is holding "too many fiefs"?
How do "Influence Loss Per Day" and "Corruption" work with "Influence Decay" options?
Will "Corruption"/"Influence Decay Percentage per Day" not do anything if the faction's influence is under the "Influence Decay Threshold" default of 1000?
Will "Maximum Influence Loss per Day" minimize "Corruption" loss to the default of 20?
If "Influence Decay Percentage per Day" default 2% is >20 will "Maximum Influence Loss per Day" reduce it to 20?
Does "Maximum Influence Loss per Day" reduce the total influence loss of all the other options to a cap of 20?
Guys, what do you expect of me, posting this? If you just want to report that the mod does not work so I'd be aware of that, then it's not the case, the mod does work for me, which means that the problem is on your side. If you want me to help you find and fix the problem, then I need some actual information. What is the issue exactly? The game does not load? The mod is grayed out in the launcher? Game crashes at some point? if the game crashes, I will need a crash report to see what is going on.
The problem is the version of harmony that in MB 1.2.10 native the game crashes with version v2.3.3 unless you use the BLSE launcher. BLSE does not start for some users (including me) and we are forced to use previous versions of harmony, currently tested and also written on the forum by me with MB 1.2.10 native the harmony version 2.3.0.192 works correctly. Now I'll make a reply at the top for everyone to see
it is giving crash after 5 seconds moving around the map in 1.2.10, i tried only with Diplomacy mod, with newest version v1.2.13 and for 1.2.10 game version v1.2.12
I'm using Diplomacy along with Realm of Thrones without any errors. It also works with Anno Domini 1259 Continued, added along with 20 mods and everything works perfectly.

Is this intended?

IIRC, there could also be problem with some obfuscated mods, but I'm not sure.
