This makes me belive there is more "logical flaws" and incorrect maths being used in the game which can be the reason behind some other behaviour.
(My memory is wage on the spot and its 1 in the nite local time, so I'm hitting the bed after this post).. But there is a perk that give the party 2% boost to its speed. So in my case atm I'm at 4,7 Speed on the map(bit heavy on the infantry and not enough mounts in the inventory either). I pick the perk and I should then be at 4,7 * 2% = 0,094 boost to speed. However instead I'm suddenly 4,9 speed on the map.. Which is quite the boost. But on the other hand its also a 0,2 bonus though.(meaning I'm thinking they did the math abit sloppy and didnt do a % but just added a fixed integer instead of 0,2 regardless of the speed of the party).
Yeah... I think TaleWorlds bit more than they can chew. There are actually lots of systems in game, and some of those are not correctly implemented. There can also be bugs when those different stuff needs to work together. As far as the code goes, it is actually not as bad (it can definitely be better, but I have seen worse) They need to get more serious and fix the development so it is actually efficient, but I doubt that will ever happen :(
There is a lot of issues with the game, but this is not a one I believe. Any % of increase or decrease is calculated from the base amount (whether it's travel speed, income, health or other). If you hover over the speed, you should see the exact modifications. So even if you current speed is much lower due to many debuffs, the percentage increase will be from the base, not the current speed. I have not noticed any discrepancies with this, but I may be mistaken. Do not have a save I could test this on atm.
Great mod/fix! It's work very well. Thank you very much for this, although it is only a drop in the sea. The traits system is totaly broken and forgoten by TW. The max valor's points which you can get is 20 for almost impossible to win battle 1/4 , 1/5. I mean the army as examle 200 vs 800 or 200 vs 1000. Actually this mean 50 impossible battles, to reach 1000 point and get valor trait. This can be achieve when your hero is around 40-45 years old. But what about Fearless(the second level of valor)? Your hero will have long died from old age before reaching 4000 points :) Only TW can create such b===t. You sir are so kind and you have fixed the slopes of someone who calls yourself a programmer and wants money for his terrible work, but the valor trait is still broken. The other traits are broken too. Without any general purpose and impossible to reach their second levels.
I dont seem to be getting any xp for anything, noticed this after installing your mod and show trait xp. lots of numbers show up but none change. what can be the cause?
You can disable my mod and test it again with only show trait xp just to be sure it is this mod. I would also need mod list to be able to check conflicts. Other than that I really don't know what could be the issue. This mod is supposed to be very light and have minimum conflicts.
I dont think it's your mod, same thing happens after I disable it too. I just noticed it after I installed your mod and saw show trait xp recommended here.
