Just like in Warband, sending a messenger to another lord added immersion. Imagine sending the messenger and a conversation pops between the lord and the messenger (His/Her abilities will come in handy, you will prefer to send somebody with a lot of charm and perks).
I am on the 1.5.8 Branch. This mod works fine but I have to select my companion from the 'Encyclopedia' in order to get the 'messenger' feature. Is it possible to get the 'prompt' on the 'Clan' screen? This mod really is great to have when my companion is captured and is in a location totally across the map!
There's another mod. Diplomacy Fixes, that do something similiar to your mod, while using Influence as the currency and don't needing a companion to go.
Would be possible, to maybe add an "Courier" Npc on major cities, that could be used instead a companion? A courier faction, in the future, would be awesome actually.
just tried to use it, game crashed, so I'm not sure what is conflicting there. I just downloaded it. I don't know how to show what happened. so if you can tell me how to do that, I can try to replicate it later.
