Can your mod cause the game to crash? The fact is that I turn off all my mods and still get an error. The funny thing is that the crash does not appear immediately, as it usually happens when using mods, but after about a year of playing time, when using the earliest saves, the game works completely normally exactly until the game date when the previously mentioned problems began.
Alas, I couldn't do anything about it. I asked many people, in the discord of the banner king, on the pages of other mods. Well, no one can give a clear answer why this is happening. Alternatively, it was assumed that the problem was related to performance, but before that I went through the company (although without this mod and some others) without any problems and errors. so I deleted some suspicious mods and started a new game. If this happens again, the only way out will be to completely delete all the game files and download it again.
Same, weird errors with no related mod happening around 60 days to 120 days. Talked to people and they said it sounded like an XML error regarding bandits or other spawned parties.
After poking around in the xmls, I have found some potential problems, including a serious typo in BrigandsP, and PoachersP didn't look like it was set up correctly at all. I am not sure whether making the necessary edits myself will rescue my save game, or whether it's a lost cause and one would have to start over with a new game for these changes to take effect, however.
Maybe someone knows whether xml changes can take effect mid save game?
Ok man, great mod, I absolutely love it - BUT - it's presently breaking my game - without giving an informative call stack...I've ran it by other devs and they said the errors are the result of bad group, bandit, troop type xml. Also, when I remove your mod the game works fine...no errors. It's a complicated problem to address as it happens after 60-120 days, so I had to pull a mod (I have 50) play for 60-120 days then pull another, take notes etc etc, you get it. Finally, since your's is zzz in the mod list I got to it and voila...two weeks of testing found my result. Not sure where your xml errors are but they need fixed or else everyone else is going to have problems. Thanks!!
Seconding this, also getting the food consumption error and wondering if this mod is the reason. Hard to test, especially since this only came up a good 350 days in :(
Yeah, I'm fairly confident this mod is the problem. OP, is it possible for this mod to be patched so that I don't have to lose my 350 day save game I've become so attached to? Thanks for your help!
So Bombcat, do you use Calradia at War or Hired Plus? Also, I've read that having overly jacked stats can throw food consumption calculation off by making it go negative, causing a crash even in vanilla. I wonder if there is a similar issue here. However, looking at the xmls, the stats seem fairly modest to me of the troops added by this mod.
Unfortunatly cant get it to work. Even when i start a new sandbox it crashes as soon as I press party screen, although I have cheat menu enabled so party screen lists all units in the game on the left, so maybe it just cant load the units. Even if i dont touch party screen it crashes on the world map after few days. It does not provide much evidence in the report. (mentioning only sandbox module and extendedUI) I had to disable mods 1 by 1 .. this was the last i wanted to disable ;( and when i did, no more crashes.. im using Fourberie (Cunning) mod, more bandits, Bandit Variety, calradia at war that work fine together

Thanks a lot for your prompt responce! Cheat menu which was enabled by editing engine_config.txt. I only used to check if the mod items were loaded in most cases. This mod was already on the bottom, but I will try disabling dev cheats and hope for the best :|
for future reference you dont have to edit the game files to enable cheat mode, do alt ~ and enter config.cheat mode 1 and 0 respectively to enable and disable it.
I moved the Fourberie at the end of the load order just after this mod. and it played out fine for a couple of game days but eventualy I got the crash again "object reference not set to an instance of an object" In those few days I also noticed that "improved troops" from RBM are missing more than half of melee weapons, but even before finding an answer to that I got a mentioned crash agian. Thing is after playing around with many mods since the release nowadays I tend to keep the mod list at the bare minimum for many reasons.( it also helps me see what the actual devs did with the game after all this time..) As mentioned This time i just wanted a bandit playthough and I was just hoping to enrich the bandits abit with mentioined mods, and this mod realy seems the best! This is my curent mod list with load order.

Lastly just want to mention that I just "finished" a 650 day game with almost no crashes with all these mods except Bandit Variety, Bandit Remaster, Fourberie, and RBM, ( i tried with out RMB first but then the crashes started so i though maybe i must have RMB but even with rmb it keeps crashing) and also started a new sandbox with out RMB and Bandit remaster with no crashes. But I realy want to get this mod to work.
Update: Seems Harmony and Butterlib got updated again in the meantime.. Beside having no more crashes (as it seems for 1 in game week or more) finaly RBM and CaW units all have weapons now ><
Sorry if it's written somewhere and I just missed it - What game version is this mod built for? I saw the mod version is 1.2.7, are you matching the mod version to the game version? Great idea if you are - not sure why more modders aren't doing that. The fact that most don't is why I felt I needed to ask lol
are Vikingr Wildman and wend shieldman supposed to have a weapon? they spawn in with shield and fists for my playthrough. only thing ive noticed thats off. rest of their trees have weapons.
